how to achieve this with a dynamic table
@ExcelTipsVideos4 жыл бұрын
Achieving this with a dynamic table ( dynamic number of rows) will require a VBA based solution. However, if you know the maximum possible number of rows, we can use a formula based approach. For example, you know that the table is dynamic but will never exceed 25 rows. You can wrap the formula in the helper column in an IF statement and drag the formula till 25th row, the formula will be like -> =IF(B2"", Current Formula in the Helper column,NA()) If value present in Year column, populate the Helper column return the value evaluated by the current formula in the Helper column If no value present in Year column, i.e. row is empty, populate the Helper column with "#N/A" Populating the values in Helper Column with NA() will prevent it from getting plotted in the chart. I have not yet tested this out - I will try and test this out and give you the exact solution in a day. Thanks and I hope this helps.
