The glow tells you something, this is based on my observation (cmiiw) - no glow: no sr / ur - yellow glow: sr - rainbow glow: ur but if you get utopia when opening the packs, it will upgrade the glow to the next level, ex: from no glow -> yellow glow

You can get utopia without anything else in the Pack, not even a shiny

You can get SR or UR without a glow. Yellow glow Super rare guaranteed rainbow glow Ultra Rare guaranteed no glow nothing guaranteed, but SR or UR possible nontheless utopia: More foil cards, doesn't anything to the pull rate of SR and UR.

The pack glows are really not that hard guys. Theres only a couple situations myself where it was wonky and made no sense (like when theres a UR or SR despite the pack showing to be "generic"). What is the color of the SR symbol on your card? Yellow. What is the color of the UR symbol on your card? rainbow/purple. Sometimes they upgrade the pack as you're opening, and they SHOW you that.

And the utopia animation means two things: the pack you're oppening has increased CHANCES of having an SR or UR and the pulls can be from outside the pack, which is why you don't want to see the utopia animation when you're oppening for a specific card from the pack.

I've got Titanic Galaxy from the random gift pack and alternative art Eldlich from my free pull so I'm satisfied with that... The Spright stuff is gonna be hard to get though. There are so many URs, even more since I'll need to get Deer Note and Psychic End Punisher for Therion P.U.N.K. as well. New Steps for Duelists is mostly trash indeed, although Onibimaru is needed for Spright and Navy Dragon Mech may be good in Virtual World maybe. I wouldn't sleep on Draco Utopian Aura either and of course, Blaster may find some use now that it has been unbanned, probably in some Dragon Link variant. But that said... Yeah, it's way better just craft all of those if they are needed.

1 UR at the absolute minimum is guarenteed from 20 packs due to the pity system. The 3 SR's guarenteed are a drop in the buckect when 10 packs guarantees 1 SR naturally.
