It's impossible to listen to one of Selena's rancheras and not be happy. Her joy is contageous. And, were her and Pete the perfect duet partners, or what? Whenever I see him playing himself in the movie, I can't help but think about how hard it must have been for him to be up on a stage, hearing Selena's voice so soon after her murder. I've heard that virtually the whole cast was walking around with tears in their eyes between scenes, and they were professional actors. Just goes to show you how much Selena is loved and missed. God bless our sweet Angel of music always.
