He's good at cumbia! He has that extra little kick/push off before he swings around again. Difficult to explain but you can see the difference in that extra slight step when he pushes off before swinging around. The ladies were just doing the swing, which look fine too, but no slight shift in body and push off before the swing. Watch the video again and at 1:15 and look at his feet when he starts dancing, you see that extra slight push off and shift in body weight before swinging that separates beginners from experts. I think this slight push off comes with confidence and practice. I get energized just watching him dance!
