I was there. I got my tickets from work. I really didn’t know much about her before that night, but for anyone who’s been to the Houston Rodeo the musical performer is just the icing on the cake of a fun family experience. Selena was the cherry on top of the sundae of all awesomeness. I’ve seen a lot of great musicians in the last 45 years. This is the performance that’s etched in my memory banks. Her voice was so powerful & her stage presence was way beyond her years. Thank you for posting and allowing me this trip down memory lane.

The MOST COMPLETE and NATURALLY Gifted Female Artist of All Time! I love this video of her. It almost feels like she is saying farewell in the beginning not knowing it would be her last but it was perfect. She arrived like a QUEEN, looked like one and performed like one. What a historic moment in music!!! This masterpiece (the best Donna Summer homage/cover ever) proved to me that we missed out on the most successful crossover in history and she was on her way to a Michael Jackson level of fame. No disrespect to the great ones past or present but Selena was different. We love you and miss you for bringing us joy 25 years later... and still no one has been able to replace you.

You can tell how much she enjoyed performing. Her voice and stage presence are simply immaculate. It absolutely breaks my heart that she was robbed of so much. Even with her short career she is one of the most influential and legendary artists of all time, so imagine if she was able to live up to her full potential. I hate the wretched woman who took all that away. I won’t even say her name. Selena was such a wonderful human ❤ rest in power, queen 🙌

it was truly her favourite place to be, on stage surrounded by family and friends, doing her alltime favourite songs that inspired her growing up. Such a sad comparison to what the next few months were like in their community and family. I always think about where she'd be now and all the connections she could have made, I see other iconic performers get their flowers in tribute ceremonies and wish she could have seen how loved she was. She really was a shooting star.

Aside from the energy, the charisma, the stage presence, the performance, the talent, the good looks, the dancing, the crowd engagement, the showmanship, the body, the spins, the costume and the voice --the move where she rips off her earring (around 3:48) and tosses it to the ground after realizing her first one flew off and that theyd only slow her down, thats rockstar shit. You cant buy / build / or practice that. It's innate in only oh so few. What a treasure, gone too soon.

Can you imagine 65 million views from a person who hasn't been here for the past 27 years! She is really good in what she is doing. And I admire her energy and voice while performing live. Big respect to this talented woman.

I was up late last night watching her videos and saw the amount of views here and could NOT believe it. What a tragedy.....very sad to think about what happened, and seeing her beauty in these videos. Incredible.

She was the lady version of Michael jackson. Had she had a chance, she would be mentioned with the all time greats.
