He is also used to getting everything he wants-and yet he could not quite land his love. Men often regret their early relationships due to selfish and uncaring behavior and only see the value after it’s long gone. Hailey seems to love him - and he appeared to be in love with the idea - he was neither ready and still doesn’t know himself well enough to have jumped into marriage. Justin was a boy and he behaved like one. He was wild, inexperienced and was truly badly influenced by adults around him. He wasn't even a man yet and s people should understand that. Young women always fall in love hard. Been there done that. I had my heart broken by my first love more than once. I eventually married him and we had 3 beautiful children. Today we are divorced ( yes, he broke my heart one last time) but we are friends. Selena is a powerhouse and has learned some tough lessons. I'm sure she'll find the love she deserves.

It is hard, a similar thing happened to me. We were 17 when we met, and together for 7.5 years. 6 mths after we broke up he was engaged to someone else. They have since married, had children...that was 14 years ago, and I can honestly say that you never entirely get over it. Some days are better than others, you laugh, you live life, you grow and experience, but there is always a little something something sitting there within you. I think one thing that makes it so hard is the fact not only were you in a relationship with this person, but you grew up with this person so it's like you lose a piece of your family too.
