It was definitely about Justin Bieber. She said that “Lose You To Love Me” and “Look At Her Now” was closing the chapter on that relationship (Justin and Selena got back together temporarily in late 2017/early 2018, after Selena left The Weeknd to get back together with Justin but they eventually broke up again and two months later, Justin got back with his ex Hailey and married her a couple months after). SHE broke up with The Weeknd. He didn’t break her heart. It was the other way around. She didn’t write any songs about him lol but he did write “Call Out My Name” about Selena which was about feeling heartbroken and used by her and only being a “temporary” option until she went to the one she always went back to (Justin). Sorry about all the details but y’all got so much wrong, lmao 😭🤣😭
