Selena has mentioned in interviews that she kind of cringes at her younger self, but I honestly have such a soft spot for young Selena. She was so spontaneous and natural and you could feel her genuine excitement. Of course we all have to grow up and be "proper" and innocence is lost in the process but I wish she had retained some of that naivete.
