I've been obsessing over vintage perfumes as well. It is definitley an '80s perfume that young women may not like!

That particular fragrance scent might've been popular especially during the late 80s, so it makes sense that it would be bold. It fits the time it was released.

This was the BEST review I found of this perfum. My boyfriend bought this for me for Mother's Day because he knew I wanted it because it was Selena's favorite. I thought it smelled like old lady perfume. Adter a few hours, it still did only not so much but my boyfriend likes it. I was born in '82.

I don't think it's weird to want to know what celebrities you love wear and enjoy as their fragrances. Scents carry emotion and it brings you a little closer to that person. Same thing as knowing what your beloved grandmother loved as a young woman :)

I have never tried Boucheron, but I love Boucheron's "Jaipur Bracelet", which is a light floral with a little citrus. It is really beautiful, but almost no one talks about it. It also has the traditional bracelet bottle and looks beautiful on the dressing table. So, I would be curious to see what the Boucheron eau de parfum smells like.

There is a vintage one (that one at Selena museum) which is the exact same bottle but the one you have is the modern version which you can see that the colour of the perfume is lighter. They have changed the ingredients.

Yes, sadly, fragrances get reformulated over time very often. I've had to track down older bottles of my favorite perfumes because they truly start smelling different. 😕

Everyone's body chemistry is different. So perfumes smell different on different people. It probably smelt great on her. Like for amber scent goes very well with me.

Yeah...the first few minutes is bold...but just like tabu, once it dries down...it smell nice. Spray a bit in the air, walk through...then start your makeup...by the time you are done...it smells amazing.

What socks does that reformulated it? So, it probably doesn't smell the same. I just ordered the old version. Can't wait to get it in the mail. They sent has grown on me tremendously. I love it so much now. It took a minute to get used to I. Also got it because of Selina. It kind of reminds me of a hippie smell like when you walk into those hippy shops, the incense and everything, but at the dry down. It has that sweet vanilla. I just love it to death.

If you’ve ever worn Maia ( Spanish perfume & lotion ) this is slightly similar to that it has strong, powdery mature scent that your titi would wear 😂 I didn’t get into perfumes like this till my late 20s but I love Boucheron definitely makes your feel elegant 💋

Technically, an Eau de Toilette (EDT) such as what Selena wore and what is shown in this video is a lighter, less strong formulation. Eau de Parfums (EDP), like the frosted glass version, are stronger and last longer. They are the same fragrance, it merely depends on how strong and long-lasting you wish your perfume to be.
