My visit to corpus Christi TX and visiting the Selena Museum.

Selena is one of my biggest heroes and inspirations, having motivated and inspired me to pursue my dreams and goals. I served in the US Army for 3 years (2009-2012). Needless to say there were many people who didn't want me to join because they would worry and didn't want anything to happen, blah blah blah. Then again though, you don't have to be in the military for something bad to happen. We all know what happened to Selena, and she wasn't in the military. >:( RIP Selena, you're always in my heart. TV series haven been done. A movie was filmed. Books have been written. A wax figure made in her own image. Graffiti painted on walls for her. A statue was built at El Paseo de la Rosa. A star at Hollywood. Broken records of sales of her albums The Auditorium where she laid in her casket has her name. Postage stamps with her image. Etcetera. She never saw her success come reality. It’s very sad. 😢

So she collected Faberge eggs. That was not mentioned in the movie that I recall, When that woman (who killed her) gave her the ring, she mentioned that it looked link an egg on the top. That makes more sense and I get the significance of it now.

Yolanda gave her a special made ring. Selena died with it in her hand. She was giving it back to Yolanda but was shot. The medic found it in her hand. Her dad threw it in the Gulf Of Mexico after her death.
