I’m sure she is smiling from up there 🤍 because that’s how she wanted to be remembered. As a person who gave it her all. The best wife, the best daughter, the best sisters, the best at everything🤍🤍🤍 and she accomplished it all although Yolanda thought she silenced her forever she will forever live in our hearts. I'm an Italian - American from New York State who's been a HUGE Selena fan for 23 years, and I wish I could have gone to ANY of her concerts. She had a combination of talent, charisma and class that was, and will forever remain, without equal, and was incredibly versatile stylistically - in my opinion, one of the hallmarks of a true musical artist. She was also a true lady, sweet - natured and humble, and didn't go around with that "Do you know who I am"? kind of attitude, despite the level of fame she'd risen to, and the incredible things she'd achieved. She knew that arrogance has no place in the makeup of a true artist, and that the work of a true artist speaks for itself. It's that combination of the incredibly talented and charismatic artist Selena was, and the sweet and humble person she was, in general, that's the reason I've been a huge fan for 23 years, have so much respect and admiration for her, and will love her always. I can't imagine my life without her incomparable music in it, or a world untouched by the positivity and inspiration she brought to it. There will never be another like Selena.

I'm not judging, just making an observation, but I've always found it interesting how AB has been married (and had women on the side) so many times...and Suzie has been married to the same guy for almost 30 years. It's always seemed like he tries so hard to live that hard lifestyle of a musician/producer, and she's more focused on career and maintaining her family's legacy. Italian American, she died when I was a child, but remember seeing this movie on tv as a child and feeling saddened by her story and hearing “Dreaming of You” play on the radio while my mom was driving, and feeling tears going down my eyes while looking out the window. As a grown adult now, almost 30, I still feel strongly hearing Selena’s music. What makes me the saddest is knowing she won’t be able to make more music, I absolutely love her voice.

And all 3 of the performances @ the Astrodome were great BUT u can DEFINITELY Tell a difference between the 1st one and the last one! By the last concert there its like the confidence had gone up by a thousand percent and the energy too! And it was even MORE then the last 2! Which is crazy because Selenas songs & the band and just everything were Always amazing. The energy in the last concert was just So So great❤❤ my gosh she would be going today still and just be everything today. I loved EVERYTHING selena and her music when I was a little girl. So the Netflix series is just interesting. It brought up a lot of emotion and memories and just a lot.

I was a baby when she died but as i grew older i saw how much influence she had on my sisters they wore shirts of her and did their makeup like her i also began to hear her music she is such a big influence on me ..its really sad how she passed i feel as if i knew her and its sad that her life was cut short.
