It's very gross to see people commenting on her weight and mood or she looks sad. She has Lupus and kidney issues. To anyone who hasn't suffered from an autoimmune disease and or a kidney transplant, it takes a lot out of you especially during a flare up. Just doing basic things can make you feel like you ran a marathon. She also probably is on corticosteroids which do unfortunately cause weight gain paired with already dealing with an inflammatory disease. Show a little kindness...

That’s hard enough on an average person like ourselves, but now just imagine knowing that everyone is watching you and criticizing you and making assumptions about you? People forget she has lupus. Its debilitating, and flare ups can be incredibly unpredictable. When my lupus flares up I'm bedridden for days, weeks. Selena rarely talks about when she's going through shit so people either don't know or forget entirely. She's a humble lady, doesn't like to trouble anyone for her sake. I'm not an avid listener to her music or her media but her story has inspired me to fight back against my illness.

@@vianeyboruel504 actually yes. There are alot of things that happen when you're dealing with an inflammatory disease. Also, there is typically side effects from meds we take as well with autoimmune issues that can cause bloating, which is a form of inflammation. Stress is the biggest trigger for flare ups with ALL autoimmune conditions.

@@brittneyvetten1957 I don't know a lot and don't want to sound offensive, but if Lupus causes inflammation, shouldn't poeple with Lupus stop eating inflammatory food? Meat, Dairy, etc, like isn't is better to go vegan if u have Lupus? Sorry for everybody who deals with it!

@@okok-lq5tv So it's tricky because like I do try to be mindful of what I am eating and basing it on how I am also feeling. Most foods cause inflammation but they don't also cause issues for me. Every body is different. I can eat inflammatory foods then boom it changes randomly and then I'm not ok eating it. There really is alot of back and forth and randomness to autoimmune conditions. It's also difficult because they are all like invisible diseases because they typically aren't visible to people who don't suffer from one. A lot of us suffer in silence because we get dismissed because you can physically see anything wrong with us because it's all internal. At like a lot of times I feel really sick to my stomach and do not wanna eat anything but it's a double edge sword because it I don't it that also makes me sick. It's very frustrating.
