Sadly I leave, I don't fear quitting anymore. If a job doesn't make me happy, I leave . Because often times I find myself overworking and being underpaid. Employers always expecting me to go above and beyond, jump through hoops for approval, always wanting to pry into my personal life and they don't have boundaries. I always start by feeling sad, exhausted, overwhelmed, tired and depressed. Then it's not wanting to go to work then I know I have got to go.

Definitely agree with taking your job day by day and having the feeling that you have put all of your efforts in it so that even if you want to change career paths later you won’t regret it..and what I advice myself and others nowadays is = do what makes YOU happy and will leave YOU with a fulfilled feeling, that can be different for everybody of course. All depends on what you are looking for in life.

Yes, the burnout is real! It's 100% normal for young and early professionals as we still try to figure out what matters to us most, learn new positions, and find our own versions of work-life balance. Like I said in the vid, if you absolutely hate it and dread it ALL the time, it's 1000% ok to quit and look elsewhere! For me, I just want to make sure I first get to a place where I master it, and then if I still feel unhappy, then I know it's not the fact that I don't completely understand he job that makes it overwhelming, but the job itself, if that makes sense! Also, I am so happy you found my channel and that you're enjoying it, I'm so happy you're here!

I would totally love for you to go to law school. That would be some great/ different content for us hahaha but I agree that it is important to stay at the job longer than a year to decide if continue or not. We also need to normalize changing jobs and careers. Just because you are aneconomist now does not mean you have to be one your whole life. Definitely!! it's something I'm seriously considering, just not sure which route I would take yet! Changing jobs/careers should be normal by now, soooo many ppl do it and honestly there's nothing wrong with it in my eyes. Exactly! We shouldn't be stuck to one career forever! I've though about it MAYBE in the future, but idk, i think I would get bored eventually.

My family has many a times done "close your eyes...open your eyes!" for gifts. I feel the same- I'm terrible at gift wrapping and gift bags are way too expensive for someone to see them for all of two seconds(unless they're under the tree I guess!). We've reused some of the same gift bags and boxes for many, many years and they've become an inside joke now. Some are from dept stores that aren't even around anymore lol but hey, it works!
