Is there anything which you are not aware of? 🙏 You are truly a star(professionally). Fabulous (content) as always. Whenever I forget any concept or have doubt on anything,I’d first prefer to watch your video and then anything else. Please keep them coming. There is only one difference between your old videos and new ones. You have stopped saying:” it’s very simple, guys” that’s it😀Can you please start saying it again coz when you say it,any difficult(or complicated) topic becomes easy to understand and simple 🌟❤️ Thank you so much for creating such useful content especially during lockdown. Shall be so grateful to you.

I have a Question if you could answer then it will be very helpful: So in Interview it was asked Basically in all the above concepts you explained , lets say in Docker I have created 2 node 1.Chrome 2.FireFox if I am running lets say 6Tcs on Chrome, my understanding is all will run on Chrome node, if I have 2 Chrome nodes same config and version, then my understanding is Grid will divide PCs and they will run on 2 different Nodes. Now my question is if I was to achieve parallel Execution, firstly driver instance I will create using ThreadLocal so that if in 1 node 3 Tcs are running in parallel then I don't get race condition as ThreadLocal will create separate driver instance copy for each Thread. No as per Interviewer why I am using this static ThreadLocal driver concept , as per him if I am using Grid or Selenoid or any other platform , they will run on different containers/nodes, I don't get what he is trying to say. Say you please tell me is my understanding correct or am I missing any concept here?

Awesome, thank you so much for such a wonderful session..:) I have one question here.. We are passing HUB URL then how Hub is going to call particular node ? I am assuming that it is based on DC (OS+Platform) and based on DC only it is going to call respective Node. Also, if there are more than 1 node have same DC then it will call any node by default. please correct if my understanding is correct.. thank you so much in adv !!

meanwhile in robot framework all you can do is remote execution with 8 windows side by side. just using a single command and just with a git pull on remote machine. headless is possible too. No need to reinvent the wheel like how trash selenium and java does. Automation is simple but needs a creative brain to utilize the most out of it.

Your understanding is absolutely wrong here about Selenium GRID and Robot FW. This video is about what is GRID and how to setup this infra. Client (Script) could be anything either its Selenium with Java/Python/C#, Robot Framework. In Robot FW also, setting up Selenium Grid is indeed a necessary step if you want to leverage its capabilities for parallel test execution. Robot does not provide any remote infrastructure to run tests in parallel mode. This is the sample code in RF: *** Settings *** Library SeleniumLibrary *** Test Cases *** Example Grid Test Open Browser example.com chrome remote_url=your-grid-hub:4444/wd/hub [Teardown] Close Browser //Here you are using Robot FW remote library to run tests on grid which is hosted on a machine on port 4444. and FYI, GRID is designed in Java only, so calling it trash is absolutely wrong here.
