I have noticed that the women whom care & prepare for these precious babies, never leave them unattended & seem to be more prepared. Perhaps it is a natural , maternal response. Nonetheless they all show so much respect & dignity for these babies. This is the last thing that can be done for the sweet babies. I appreciate every step & hope the families find peace & recovery in their loss.

Those men/women have been trained to prepare muslims for burial. They have to attend courses to learn the steps. Some of us do this voluntarily.

Cleanliness is paramount in the Islamic religion. The body must be washed a few times either using fresh water or luke warm. They wash right side 1st then left, always covering the Awrah (body parts that are meant too be hidden/private). They use Camphor oil, Sidr leaves or scented oils (so they smell like they've just had a bath). Also the oils are put on parts of the body that touch the ground ( this maybe different in some parts of the religion, because ive seen some bodies burnt, so there must be various adaptions in various country regions maybe?) The body is sacred so no nail clipping or hair cut etc. I think the ritual is called the Sunnah ritual, named after an Islamic prophet. The 3 main tasks are wash, shroud & bury. The female relatives always prepare the female deceased, Male always do the male deceased. I may have got some of that slightly wrong, as I'm not muslim

This is how muslims handling deceased. As u can see in this video, this baby boy was handle by men. For muslims deceased, they will be handled based on their gender. When the deceased is a man/boy, men will handle these procedures. Same goes to woman/girl deceased, women will handle them. Hope this info may help u to know better about this.
