I think that cold water early on would have helped Lara's head, and the Mars bars would have given her much needed energy after sleepng on that huge mattress. I knew A.I Lara would be ok in the beginning without her weapons, and then when she found her weapons I knew it was game over for her enemies. Excellent jumping skills around those bunk beds, spot on. I've always liked how A.I.Lara doesn't crash into walls & levers etc, rather she runs and then gracefully slows to a walk. Really am enjoing this.

I've been playing TR since the 90s and I have a question that's always stuck with me. When Lara ends up shooting with one pistol, instead of both, (like when turning away) are the shots still doing full damage or half? Love the vids btw!

Half for sure, it takes 7 double shots of automatic pistols to kill a thug, 14 with one gun only ^^ But sometimes Lara isn't accurate, for example she can one shot rats with the auto-pistol, but most of the time she misses. I think the shotgun launches multiple bullets, some can miss too, the only way to know is to shot 1 time and end a level to check the board at the end, it talks about bullets and hits 🤗 Also when Lara rolls she often shots on the walls.

I wonder if anyone completes the first bit of this level the "intended" way? (Exit jail, jump in the water, pull lever next to fan, swim through tunnel to get to the ledge with the button to get inside the plane - don't actually have to encounter the two thugs at all before getting your guns back!) Using the thug to shoot out the window is a very cinematic way of doing things, mind you.

the fact that this ai can calculate optimal, supremely skilled jumps and is, at the same time, very bad at dealing with enemies is really puzzling me. the ai runs to them, even if unarmed, doesn't do much to avoid being touched or shot causing a true waste of medipacks.... often, like at the end of the previous level, she stands still while shooting (instead of jumping and moving around while doing so) even if the enemy has a lot hp and needs a lot of bullets to die

The problem is she doesn't know how many HP the enemies have, in fact some enemies has lower hp than the others, even if they look the same 😋 also when she jumps and move some hits are wasted, while not moving gives more accuracy, so the enemy dies faster too 🤔

When the end of the slide isn't visible she can rotate for extra safety, but there are runs where she didn't, I kept them for the bloopers, it's possible to survive the fall with full heal but there the problem was the angle of camera, the ground wasn't visible quickly enough and she crashed because not enough HP. It depends if she can see there is a hole at the end or not, depending of the angle the result can be different, so I added a rule about the number of blocks, when it's enough long she will take the risk or it would lead to problems (like the end slide of TR1 in the dark, at first she didn't want to take it and couldn't finish the game lol).

Ty dude, the dragons are unique textures in each levels so she searches for them, they are also very visible so easy to target ^^ The jade one was just her following the lever, than the only hole in the pool, she didn't know it was there ^^
