To fly to your destination, you have to finish some formalities put in place by your respective airline to ensure a safe passage for travellers. One such procedure you have to complete before boarding your flight is baggage check-in. To make this process quick and hassle-free for the flyers, Delhi Airport has introduced the Self-Baggage Drop (SBD) facility.
Here is all you need to know about how self-baggage drop can help you save time and make your check-in effortless and hassle-free!
Delhi Airport Introduces Self-Baggage Drop for Better Flyer Experience
Delhi Airport has announced the launch of Self-Baggage Drop (SBD) at Terminal-3 of Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport.
Where is the self-baggage facility counter located?
The self-baggage drop facility is conveniently located at Check-in Row-P of Terminal-3.
Who can use the self-baggage drop service?
While currently, passengers travelling Indigo will be able to use the facility, five other airlines including, Air India, Vistara, Air France, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines & British Airways are likely to allow usage of self-baggage drop for their passengers in the near future.
Moreover, after successful testing, the self-baggage drop will be made available for international flyers.
In a Nutshell
Delhi Airport is continuously working towards improving the flyer experience. The introduction of the Self-Baggage Drop by the airport reflects its commitment to innovation and zeal to enhance the airport experience for passengers. This new introduction by Delhi Airport will ensure convenience and efficiency and make the check-in process quick and effortless for the passengers

Thanks for comment plz support subcribe channel. Bag drop totally depend airline normally 4 to 5 hrs prior you can drop your bags. Self baggage facility not available for vistara so you have to drop baggage normal check in counter available at A row.

Ek baat btao sir Air India mein max weight for Check-in baggage 15kg hai ya 20kg. And Check-in baggage ko pehle security check karana hota hai ya direct counter pe jaa sakte hai ?

Baggage Allowance you can check while booking or after booking through call center of airline some time they mention on ticket also and if you have flight from delhi terminal 3 you can go directly to the check in counter with bags. Thanks for comment plz support subcribe channel 👍

Agr ham family ke sath trip kr rahe h toh kya puri family ka ek single bag le ja sakte h ,, suppose that agr 15 kg ka check in hota h or family me 4 members h toh 60 kg ka single bag check-in kr skte h ky ??????

60 kg ka single bag check in to pata nhi ...par 30 kgs ka single bag check in to hota hai....I had my 30kg ls bag...we were 4 members..to limit 15*4= 60 kgs hoti hai
