Love the uncomplicated, realistic washday. I look forward to washday too. I used to do the conditioner b4 shampoo; I don't know why I stopped, I'll do it the next time I wash.

I have short hair, but I had long hair and I didn't think it was bad. My friend is bi-racial and she said it take 3 hours to wash hers. I'm done in 60 minutes. When it was long, took 90 min but I think natural hair is easier than going to get 2 week treatments.

Does shampooing after deep conditioning remove some of the conditioning properties? I’m curious about trying this but that’s a concern I have.
@roothie__4 жыл бұрын
The way I see it, when you condition first you're providing your hair with nourishment. The shampoo removes dirt, oil, grease etc., but you still maintain the benefits of the conditioner. And since your hair is clean, it can more easily absorb the additional conditioning benefits from the leave in and styling products. Kind of complicated but it has worked for me so far! Hope this makes sense.
@apara20054 жыл бұрын
@@roothie__ same for me. If I don't prepoo, my hair is dry no matter what I add. Pre-poo saves!

Can deep conditioner work on dirty strands?
@roothie__4 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't do this technique on really dirty hair or hair with a lot of build up. I'd just do the traditional way

Hey Roothie! I have bought Ambunu from Chébé USA but not their other products. You had two products in your hand, is there another product you liked in addition to the deep conditioner? I'll have to revisit the Chébé-USA website soon.🥰

Why clarify your hair after deep conditioning . Clarifying cleans all the billup from product and dirty hair. You just washing out all that long deep conditioning work.
@peaceisgolden4 жыл бұрын
This method works well because the deep conditioner will still penetrate the hair while it is wrap up. Everything that is rinsed out and clarified is just the excess amount. So deep conditioning before or after is virtually the same as long as you are allowing time to let it absorb.
