I adore your ability to be nice to people that get bothered by what I would also consider non-issues. It shows how content and loved you feel within yourself and in your life and I love that. You acknowledge what's going on and your feelings but your way of moving forward is so great to see because it's essential in order to not become bitter or miserable on a weekly basis about things that, big picture, don't really matter. Love seeing someone process life in such a honest but gentle way.

omg this was so well said!!! like yes i get that they saw it as annoying & that i’m a bad parker or WHATEVER they thought but i’m not gonna let that ruin my day/mood. let’s just handle the “problem” in the best way for all of us! i love conflict resolution honestly i’m always trying to be better at it & be non-reactive to rudeness

After hearing you speak about having kids one day I’d be so excited to see how you handle moments like you had today, but with kids. It’s so hard to stay regulated and be a good mom in those moments of hitting a wall. And how you’d do your self care! That’s not been a thing for me since having my bby last year.

Aww Meghan I loved the story about killing them with kindness! Truly shows how evolved you are and happy within yourself. I heard phrase recently that I think about when people are being rude or nasty with me; “If that’s how they’re acting on the outside, imagine what’s going on with them on the inside” and it’s so true. People like that are generally miserable inside. Kudos to you for taking the high road!

Thank you for talking about the facial hair product! I have PCOS and have thicker/more facial hair than most. After researching I’ve found that plucking/waxing/lazering the hair doesn’t fully get rid of the hair follicles, but only disrupts the cycle of the hair and make it darker. Electrolysis is the only way to fully get rid of the hair permanently. I definitely am interested in seeing how this works for you while I save up for electrolysis!

I have a little beard with thick dark hairs, patches on my chin and down my neck, across my jawline. It's pretty sparse, but very noticeable! I had to shave daily which was hell on my skin, and I would get 5 o'clock half-way through the day. I started doing IPL at home (which is obviously not for everyone) and it works!! Every session there is clearly less and less patches. The remaining hair is whispier. It has been a blessing for me as a very hairy lady who enjoys being hairless, and HATES the act of shaving lol.

@@meghanhughes Intense Pulsed Light Therapy, it's a corded handheld machine that looks similar to an electric shaver. You drag it across the skin, and it emits this really bright red light, and you can feel the heat. Mine has different intensities, and it's relatively painless. Usually I don't feel anything more than warmth. Absolutely nothing compared to waxing/ epilating pain lol. It is a compartively affordable and less invasive option than laser!

Hi Meghan! Just wanted to let you know it’s actually recommended NOT to brush your teeth after having coffee, you want to brush before. The acids in coffee can cause more decay of enamel when you brush (the same reason why you don’t want to brush your teeth after throwing up).
