Difficult situations have a way of revealing the heart. Extreme financial pressure, a broken family relationship, or the death of a loved one may be a crisis to one person while to another it’s an opportunity to prove the power of God’s Word.
You can’t control what everybody else does, but you can control yourself. When bad things happen, are you going to fall apart like a two-dollar suitcase, or are you going to stand up straight, cast your cares upon Jesus, and look for others who might need your help?
What’s the difference? That’s the question Andrew answers in his teaching Self-Centeredness: The Source of All Grief. Using Proverbs 13:10 as a foundation, he clearly teaches how two people facing the same set of pressing circumstances can respond very differently. Being self-centered can make following Jesus more difficult and can even keep you from being obedient to God and walking in His fullness.

Andrew, one of your students recommended you to me. I was going through one of the roughest times I've ever gone through with anxiety and depression, and was constantly stressed out. It was extremely rough and I had lost sight of the light, but this restored the Light of God within me. It has restored my hunger and thirst for righteousness. I was hesitating on listening to this series, waiting until I was mentally and physically healthy enough to handle it, because I generally feel like I'm in trouble when I listen to Andrew Wommack, haha! I figured that would especially be the case with this series. It's a good series and very necessary, I personally am aware that I'm very self-centered, not in an arrogant way but I'm very self-conscious, always trying to be perfect and not mess up and examining myself. I think this series will really help me.

I just brought that book a few weeks ago. All your books I've brought so far are super Awesome and helps me better understand the word of God and helps me dig deeper in the word of God . I love Joyce Meyer and Creflo Dollar and Kenneth Copeland. I do Chur h through live stream through Creflo Dollar ministers. Ive tryed church in my area and wasnt learning or growing .. But God has been using Joyce and Creflo since I was a baby to teach me and a few years ago after going several years at church in the area I felt lead to start learning at home with my family and one on one with God alone . And we do church together through the live service even my kids are learning and growing more in the Lord now. Like Creflo says it matter where you go to get feed because not all church are bringing truth 100. Many are full of religion, twisted doctrines ,dead works and outward performances etc. And its super true and they push old covenant and lack genuine relationship with God. Many churches today are more concerned about performance ,than a relationship with God . God has lead me about 2 months ago to start getting your books and they are amazing and a huge help .. God lead me out of the building and pulled me to draw near to him . I do still fellowship at times with other Christians ,but not in a building . Its either through online or personal at home etc.. God bless you brother Andrew and thank you for being a huge blessing and sharing your wisdom with us . To me thats the love of God at work through you.

You are the problem. (In many cases) Its not what or who is around you. We need to renew our minds with the Word of God and LEARN to walk in love. Listen to “ Effortless Change” three part series. By Andrew. We need to root out the weeds in our heart and replace it with Gods way of thinking. Meditating on the Word daily (outloud) will transform your life IF you stick with it until the changes take place in your heart. It will not come fast or easy but it will come in time for the persistence and disciplined.
