Self Drive Safari in Etosha National Park Namibia 🇳🇦

Etosha National Park is one of the best places in Namibia to see wildlife. Located in the northern part of Namibia, Etosha National Park is a giant salt pan home to many beautiful animals such as lions, giraffes, elephants and rhinos! Over the course of two days I will be taking you on a self drive safari looking for these elusive animals while telling you about the best stops to witness these animals, where you should stay when visiting and any costs associated with a self drive safari.
For this trip, I camped one night just outside of the Anderson gate to the south near Okaukuejo and spend the second night inside of the park in the Halali Camp - 70 km east of Okaukuejo. Having the ability to stay inside of the park allows you to stay near the watering holes during sunrise and sunsets - the best times to see animals.

The only way to see them - in their NATURAL habitat❤️ and yes! There are maps in the visitor center where people share where they have last seen the animals but it all comes down to patience and a little bit of luck!

It was amazing! My friend, who was with me on this trip, was spotting animals in would have never caught with my own eyes😅 so definitely travel WITH someone to be the spotter!
