10:20 Stuff like this is why snow machines should all have engine cutoff switch lanyards like a jet ski. It's kind of stupid that they don't. At least motorcycles can fall down if the rider falls off.

Push ups are called “lagartijas” in Spanish. It translates to “lizards” iirc. I think they do that naturally to assert dominance. I know iguanas bob their heads up and down too

You'd think those self driving cars would have a manual override button so the passenger can take control.

The car and the cop is called an exhibition of speeds. It's the same as if he spun his tires out. You can get a ticket for it.

Yes, they are still being tested in many cities. People simply can't get away from their phones so many like this idea. That and corp. greed because companies do not want to pay a driver if they can avoid it. Self- driving lorries or big rigs as they are known in the US are also being tested.

Just because it says self-drives it doesn't mean you sit in the back seat it is just a machine.

I know you were joking, but almost the ENTIRE time you're on a commercial airliner...it's on autopilot. It's been that way for decades.

I live in San Francisco where self-driving taxis--Waymo--are now common. I love them and feel safer in them than in a taxi or Uber driven by who knows what kind of Covid-spewing maniac. In fact, most of the accidents in which they are involved are the fault of the other vehicle driven by a human. The accident that caused Waymo's competitor, Cruise, to have its license pulled was actually a human's fault to. A human-driven car struck a pedestrian and passed over him/her causing the Cruise car following it to also strike and drag the person. Robots don't drive drunk or under the influence of drugs and they follow traffic laws to a fault.

A few car crashes from these cars does not show it is a mistake. At Uni we did research on this and it turns out their crash rate is like 50 times less crashes than humans. They are way safer even if there are still a few crashes or mistakes. And they will only get safer over time. Looking forward to seeing this though.

My opinion on self driving cars. If you're not able or too damn lazy to drive, DON'T DRIVE.

Thing is you can't blame the driver for the accident so you sue the maker. Elon musk is about to find that out with many lawsuits for deaths and injuries. Now you know his true interest in govt.
@BTinSFКүн бұрын
I would not compare Musk's system to those in robotic taxis. I personally am not impressed with what Musk has produced but the Waymo taxis are quite safe and, if they are at fault in an accident (which is rare), the company (Alphabet/Google) can be sued.
