Figure the whole self driving thing will definately require better A.I. " However" in my opinion at least there should be enough time for companies to work out the flaws in the system which may occur. Many areas of concern to address, like weather resistance..Electro magnetic disruptance... Replacement parts? Well..the whole get into a scrape, but the car is still drivable..however the motherboard, proccesing chips are shot and need swapping out..( don't know what is under the hood, but figure despite being self driving tech..bad things are going to happen) Loss of GPS signal.."onboard maps?" Navigational software without the need of GPS would be a wise move.. Size of computer necessary? Well..figure if they can shrink things down to phone and watch size... might not be as much of a concern for under the hood or dash.. But still, water resistance, extreame tempratures.. Still being able to drive it yourself in times of emergency. History teaches every modern advance comes with problems after the first production.. But with self driving and constant changing driving dynamics on the roads... enviromental hazzards "Human behavior" well.. Looking at current hacking culture among other sociatal factors amidst it's dark underbelly... points in governance, law creation and enforcement.. Lightning, tornadoes, plough winds,..fires, floods... What Jhon Deer had done to farmers with the whole right to repair thing thus adding unnecessary expense factors, such as being way, way too far from farmers residence, yet legally requiring tech support from the dealership.. Don't know about others, but if the car breaks down for any reason several miles away from service centers... Majority don't have triple A service.. Many did not ask to be poor, but getting to work is kinda a need..so what they going to do about all these people without employment after they start leaning on production faculites utilizing more A.I. robotics, machinery in factories and current generations of humans being made redundant? Feels like buisness and industry is shooting itself in the foot, punching its scrotum and running towards the entrance of the future with a blindfold on after being spun around thrice... Don't get me wrong here..can see what the tech may bring in positive light.. Would love to have such a unit in the driveway.. There is just no way that I could afford anything close to what is being offered here.. Small chance of a used golf cart with a solar panel on the sun cover and a smart device with a holder duct taped to the dash..maybe score a lucky hit and get another engine for the e bike..😅.. All these lovely solutions for people, but "Money." Social, economical, political changes all up the class system structure... Can see certian conflicts making innovation accelerate, yet also hinder it here at home. Superpowers quite literally cannot afford WW3 and we got some threatening nuke strikes..well, solve the surplus population problem no doubt, but nukes don't discriminate like humans do... All them science, engineering and tech guru's who work and maintain this stuff are human last time I checked... China has the most production factories among others nearby it.. Don't see hiding underground working all too well for any nation really. Whole lotta people uncertian, frightened...etc. A.I. seems less of a worry, it's the whole power game ramping up between nations..ways of life dissapearing.. conflicts, displacement, poverty, Hunger.. Rattled on too much already... Survival of the fittest being natures O.S. unchanged for centuries, Combined with A.I. well.. Can see much of what governs in the now no longer if they do not apply some buisness sense. Need for skilled workers on the rise..and everything out of sorts to the point of..well, not feeling the love, rather like a calm before the storm on a future so bright, gotta wear Oakley thermo nuclear protection under the gas mask and buy vault tech underground homes stock... Only got no funds and status that grants a pass to the shelter nor spaceship headed to a mars colony. Don't much care to be in such position any more than others like a dinasaur made aware of its mortality the end times approaching.. Either we all will be fine having a draft at the winchester pub and all this will blow over..or were right and properly done for..

Tesla uses líder internally Lidar is used for hd maps Elon is smart. You don't need expensive hardware you test the road then it's update it to consumers No need for $15k c LiDAR spinning

This shows Elon is not smart, autonomous vehicles should have all the data possible not just visual, that's how it can drive better than a human. humans only have visual available
