With the first two meals it looks like everything's already cooked (apart from the rice and the noodles), so you'd be able to eat them cold. As for the brownie: Japanese people eat raw eggs, so I wouldn't worry about that one either.

Rice is cheap tbh. It’s a filler. Like pasta is usually cheap as well as it’s a filler. I think it’s whether you get a good amount of meat or decent vegetables.

I really enjoyed seeing the time lapse of the cooking process. The view of the beach is nice too!!! I wanted to point out that ants were crawling around the container occasionally, so I'd next time recommend the higher surface/ground so insects don't get in the way of the food

Yeah so many questions with that one. It doesn't seem to have any end date on the package either. Do they sell this brownie refrigerated? Will they just repackage it if not sold after 3 months (let's assume "fresh" egg can last this long, although personally I'll question any egg older than 10-14 days in my fridge).

@@sarmatiko In many countries people don’t keep their raw eggs in the fridge. In USA you wash the protective outer coating off, that makes them porous and susceptible to bacteria. Your egg yolks also seem oddly coloured and pale - not sure why? I live in the UK and am lucky enough to be able to buy all of my eggs from a farm shop and don’t have to worry about dates - if the egg floats then don’t use it is how I gauge it if unsure

@@sarmatiko as Lou has stated we have different methods for our eggs that most of the world in which is due to alternative methods against salmonella. I would hope they do have a labeled expiration date or something due to that egg. If refrigerated eggs can last up to 21 days according to the FDA. it’s all a Matter of different country different rules in hindsight.

I love being on the beach in the summer; I might not be by an ocean, but Lake Ontario ptoduces some nice beach waves to relax by, so I really enjoy whenever you're at this particular sandy spot. Loved watching the sailboats. To me, the hotpot from Haidilao was the star because I love spice (or did I get it confused with the rice?) Anyway, another thoroughly enjoyable self heating meal series. I wish we had these in 🇨🇦 where I live.

This could be a game changer for people experiencing disasters, emergencies or just love camping and cooking outdoors. I just hope it wouldn't lead to more littering as there is a lot of packaging. Also just an FYI if you over-mix brownie batter you end up with a cake-like result.

Self-heating food is trending in China. The food doesn’t worth the price but the fun packaging and cooking process makes it interesting. It’s great for picnic and camping. Lots Americans find it amazing, although it’s been used for military rations for decades.

As good as it is, I would not advise. There is a lot of trash! If possible, you can look into the bricks light on fire and use those instead for cooking! It’s multi use and better for the environment.

The clouds move really fast when we wait for food to cook. Maybe when cooking, a good rule is to never look up or you'll get dizzy. Sailor: "How can we get there faster if we're already late, sir?" one of the reason they are cheap and fast to cook is because some of the foods contain chemical flavor that enhance the taste, so it's an alternative food for those who don't have enough money but it also affect your health later, best is buy food from supermarket and cook it ourself
