In my opinion it is so important to take your time with the book (same goes for self improvement youtube videos). Binge reading and watching just for the sake of it only gives you the illusion of doing something productive. Over the last months I only read Atomic Habits by James Clear and Meditations by Marcus Aurelius over and over again because it's hard enough to implement the different principles into my life and I don't want to feel overwhelmed 😅 With this step by step method I made way more progress than when I read one book per week :D

this is a really important point and something i do have to remind myself of sometimes. quality > speed for sure. thanks for the reminder 🎗️👌💪

I feel like the first book anyone should read when starting out on self improvement would be atomic habits because it draws that general line and builds that foundation you know? Good habits such as reading sleeping and cooking consistently over doing it every now and then or when you feel like it

atomic habits is definitely up there in the self improvement category 👌

Currently reading Millionaire Fastlane and Psychology of money. The first one has changed the way I view life totally. I'm currently working at a large corporation and are suffering from burnout and sleeping problems. I can't see myself working as a wage slave for 30 more years. Need to figureout a way to escape the rat race. Read Atomic Habits last month which has given me a lot of useful tools and been really helpful. Especially building habits of taking daily walks, going to the gym, reading books and doing some coding each day. It was the first book I read since math books back in college. My plan was to get a kobo reading pad and read 100 books this year (8 per month) but I still only finished 1 out of the 12 books I have started to read this year. Will check out your other video on how to read 70 books in a year!
