If you're in your feels and need something to do i highly suggest just taking the pillows and blankets off your bed and spending a few hours in a quiet, dimly lit closet, it's just so calming and doesn't take much effort. do good to yourself loves, do good to you when no one else does, in the end we are food for worms lads. you will make it and in the end, it will be great. good luck in whatever you are doing, i believe in you and send my love and support to all of you!

I don't know why but I feel so loved whenever I listen to his songs. Like not really 'love' but that comfort you feel with a person. For many people that feeling *is* love, but I think its so much more than that. His songs are like a forest that has the sun seeping through the leaves, and at night you can climb a tree and be welcomed by stars. You just stare at them while you lay on the canvas of those same leaves. Its just beautiful aspects of life I guess.

I think I really needed this today, I've been feeling like I'm not myself all day and it felt weird and this helped me feel a bit more like me. It feels nice. I hope everyone has or had or is having a good day/night and many more to come and if you're going through something you can and will make your way through, just hold on and remember to talk it out with anyone you trust.

Fool hits differently, like it had sad vibe, but now the sadness is apparent. And This is Home, omg the vibes are immaculate. Same goes for Meteor Shower; it gives me soft dream vibes highly recommend snuggling up under a soft light/in a dim room and just let every worry melt away for a moment or five. Best song in this collection. Rocketships is an incredible song on it's own, but this makes it 5x better. The line "when your bones turn to earth and you ask me what was i worth, I'll simply plant a flower above you and you can watch it grow" is so powerful and beautiful.

I’m glad I found this. having pretty bad anxiety issues, cavetown songs are really comforting, and hearing them slowed/ in a different key is really refreshing. I’ve not been alright lately. vent coming up btw, tw I guess for toxic friendship and unkind words. I just need to get something off my chest. I think my constant waves of loneliness are rooted in my past toxic friendship with an unkind person. she made me feel poorly about myself, and would give me crap for being sensitive. I remember the day that really hit me was when she texted me when I was sitting alone at theatre already feeling lonely and stressed (I’m doing much better there now and it’s like a second home

5 am on a Sunday, it's raining and the sun is peeking through the clouds. You're very aware of your existence, and for once you're no longer scared. The future is a long way away and the past doesn't matter. You decide to lie down and sleep. You're physically and emotionally exhausted. As your eyelids get harder to keep open, you finally drift off into rest.

I like how positive some of these comments are, checking in on everybody and just making sure people have eaten, gotten water, etc. Comments on cavetown playlists are usually the most supportive communities and it makes me happy to see… that isn’t what I came to say but it’s an observation. Everybody here is so supportive and I absolutely love it ❤️ I came here because I wanted to talk, share my story as of lately- I’ve struggled in relationships for awhile but as of recent I found this boy who literally makes me feel the same happiness Cavetown songs make me feel. I’ve never been able to say a person has invoked the same feelings music has. Music gives me some of the most powerful emotions, and if he makes me feel the same happiness I think he’s a good match for me. I just wanted to vent to anybody willing to listen because of how happy he makes me. We’re moving in together soon and talking about starting a family ❤️

Thank you, that certainly improved my day, my month 100%, I love his songs for giving me this peace, this desire to cry, but it's a good thing, lying in bed, or doing my themes listening to his songs like this and letting the vibe take me, sitting on the ground enjoying every bit of it while it rains outside and watching the trees and the horizon beyond, thanks, the video is perfect, I loved the background design too, this is a significant piece of art for me . I think I gonna try to draw now, before months in a creative block, thank u

I need a place to vent and for some reason, I find it easier to yell into the void of strangers I'm a senior is high school and I don't know what I'm doing in my life. I used to have ideas and passion to do things but now, I'm just sleeping and doing work. How can I plan my future when I can't even see the present? I'm still stuck in my house since march, I came out as enby to my online friends but I cant do that with my parents. I'm 70% sure that they are trans/homophobic in some way and I don't want to be told that I'm wrong or bad or told to leave the house... Again. So I'm just, doing nothing except cut off my 3 feet long hair, listening to music and staring at the ceiling. I have work I'm supposed to be doing, I should be study for ap calc cause I'm failing it while being very behind, not to anyone's fault but college board doesn't give a crap that we are 5 lessons behind, I should be editing that video, I should be turning in my work from ap bio, I should be doing those reading logs, I should be doing something for law class but I don't know what. I feel like I'm loosing it because I know I can do all of that but.. I'm not doing it And I'm expected to choose my future like this I don't know who would be reading this, I don't really care, I just want to do something for the sake of it But I hope life fines you better than it does to me right now
@chrysalism73753 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry this is happening :/ I've been having problems with my gender identity and never felt like something fit except I'm in 8th grade. Instead of worrying about your future so much take care of yourself now and do as much as you can to make yourself happier right now. Relax, you don't need your whole life planned out now :) I know it's easier said than done but I want you to be happy. You're not defeated when you feel like you're losing, you're defeated when you quit so please keep trying.
@greenhours45603 жыл бұрын
i get the feeling, i'm sposed to be moving out in like a year, but i want to move out sooner since my brother outted me to my parents, but at the same time i'm not at all prepared. it's scary, yeah? unfortunately, i don't think any words i could say will magically make it all okay, make all those shitty feelings fly away. those feelings are gonna stick around for a while, but if you can find at least a few things that will break through and give you a bit of happiness and help you bear with it until you can get to a stable place, then i think it's enough. even if you're not doing everything you think you're sposed to do, even if you're not prepared for the future. it's not bad to worry about the future, but it's never as difficult as your mind makes it out to be. you have way more time than you think you do. move out and get your life in order first; you don't have to pursue a passion you don't even have anymore. don't worry about ap shit if you're not adamant about going to college, or even know what you'd be going to college for anyway. focus on you. focus on making it okay and getting through until you reach the point where you have more wiggle room to start living. you're doing great, even if you don't think you are. you've almost made it, keep pushing through the shit a little longer, i know you can.
