Yes Cabin sound issue . once u reach 70 -80 kmph in CVT , does not want music system engaged u will hear noise which disturb ur driving experience

Congratulations on your purchase. What a way to start the video. Elevate at the signal behind 2 Honda City's. Honda is a word of mouth car with very minimal advertisement. When launched and even in the subsequent years, Honda City was preferred by Professionals . For Elevate the negative reviews are far and few.

Hi, you told the engine sound changes from being sporty to strained at higher speed so, will it sound strained sitting at 140-150 km/hr ? And won't it be comfortable at those speeds?

Its not the speed that strains the engine, it's flooring the accelerator that causes the straining sound. and this is exasperated with a heavy load. if you accelerate with a light foot the car is fine and also delivers decent acceleration just don't expect to get a sports car like performance like the turbo engines.

In the video I see the CMBS (Collision Mitigation Braking System) warning kicking in several times. We have a option to shut it off but we have to do so every time we start the ignition. Has it created any problems for you in city drive ? Is it a deal breaker ?

Great Review . Awesome explanation. You should have given your point on body rolling as well compared to other cars in the segment. We are waiting for these kinda of genuine reviews. I have booked the car after seeing your video. It gave me a confidence and i donot trust other youtubers most of them are paid and I donot trust them.

Yes that's a good point. Body roll is minimal and best amongst competition. Another engineering marvel from Honda.

Bought the car basis your review. Must say I like all the aspects of the car. Had one question though. My brakes/suspension make noise when from static state I release the brake. There is no noise when the car is in motion. Is it a common phenomenon?

Yes someone corrected me on that earlier and I now move it to neutral for a minute or longer stops. Appreciate the input.

I am looking to buy a car which has these main features. 1.Automatic as i am using manual car. 2. Panaromic sun roof for my kids. 3. Style/color and interior like creta s+ night verient ( but this one didn't have automatic and SX night little higher cost). I decided these two cars... Creta SX automatic Elevate zx cvt What i see there is a 1lakh extra i need yo pay for creta over elevate. I still need to take the test drive but seeing the reviews about the features, style, reliability and other aspects. Could anyone suggest which one to go with? Slightly i am in favor on honda cars...

i have zx manual driven around 1500 kms in 2 weeks…Below 2500 rpm,the engine is very silent…it has decent pickup below 2500 and very very good above 3000….I am from dehradun and i am getting 13-14 km/l in city

For CVT. Yeah its silent below 2500. I think you can get up to 10 in non metro cities with normal driving. If you drive really conservatively you could reach up to 11. @@PP2023i

I have ZX CVT, drove it 1700+ kms. Getting 14 kmpl in delhi NCR. 18 on highway. Mind you, it's a new car. The engine will get better after 1st service. It all depends on your driving style

I must say that your review is much informative and helpful to a genuine buyer as compared to professional ones. I agree on points that this car should have rain sensing wipers and ventilated seats. In Delhi during rains sometimes you go under flyover and then comes out and the dry wiping of windshield is not a good sound to ears. As for ventilated seats they are offering some 'jugad ' for ventilated seats but I don't know how useful it is. Please give your review on that. One question I am curious, does collision mitigation also functions like front parking assist sensors? Please reply.

I think the jugaad accessory will take away the comfort of the seat which is amazing l. Maybe it can be used only for long distances but not always . Cmb system does not work like a parking sensor at all. It's totally different

If you manually move the stick to Neutral the engine does relax a bit. But it does miss out on the auto engine start stop feature.

I don't mind engine noise, but how about road noise and especially wind noise while cruising on highway. I expect it to be significant step up in ease of cruise @ around 100 coming from swift diesel, but comments in forum are not confidence inspiring.

Honestly I don't notice the road noise that much. Especially if you usually have music playing. I have some recording of the car in a night drive (without music), you can check it out to get a better idea.

in bumper to bumper peak hour traffic mileage is around 8.5+ this figure improves when traffic reduces less. On Highway it can give 15+

It's very smooth. You overtake easily. Sometimes when I want an extra zing I put the car in sports mode but you can drive on hills and overtake even in drive mode.

As compared to creta is the ride quality better or same in terms of cabin comfort, spaciousness and drive dynamics..

Ride quality is much better. Cabin comfort is very good, only you might experience a little lesser under thigh support than creta. I think elevate is more spacious and its an absolute segment leader in driving dynamics. When it comes to driving dynamics Honda is 5 stars !

Another point agianst Hyundai and Kia is Honda Elevate is expected to be more safer with better cabin build quality. (Honda city is a 5 star rated car)

AC is very good. But true test will be in peak of summers in the afternoon. But i think it will do good as its quite powerful. Audio system is very good. If you like very heavy bass then you can upgrade. But its really nice otherwise. I am not upgrading my system and am quite happy with it.

Highway experience is very good sir. no complaints. Enough power to overtake and also you have access to paddle shifters for ghat areas, which is fun. ADAS is extremely useful and convenient on highways. Boon for long distance.

I disagree about interior as i find it very good. Fit and finish is also good. Some people have complained about panel gaps but i could not find any in my car.

Anyone you know who is 6ft or above having elevate or driven elevate for sometime? If yes whats there feedback? My height is 6ft and during testdrive the only issue i felt was getting in and out but that too felt only once. So asking will it be an issue in the long term. The only option left with me other than elevate is taigun as i am focused on built and reliability

VX CVT is great. Only let down is no cruise control and 2/4 airbags(I don't remember correctly) That's why I went for ZX CVT.

I drive with a free spirit in a city and now after first service I manage to get around 9-10 in city. On highway it goes up to 15. So overall for 6k km driven it shows me 11 average.
