It’s great that you took your son at this age. My father also took me back home at a similar age and it made me appreciate my roots so much. It is also very humbling at that age to see poverty and how rural people live. When we compare it’s really just a bubble we live in the UK.

fantastic and different content, as always. Loved the little slice of life in the village, and that fruit your Auntie made a chutney out of looks like a big Pomelo. Please, Please try to include the recipe when you can as for me, I associate all chutney's with string sweet/sour things that you use by the teaspoon to enhance some drier dishes. To see you and dad eat a plate of it was wild!!

Haha, that was so funny when the dad said, “it was so hot yesterday, I think it was 35 degrees.” Dang it! Here in Sydney Australia 35 degrees is not considered hot, it’s warm. Hot in Australia would be 40+ it’s not that uncommon to get 42,43, or 44 degrees days in summer. Love the channel by the way.
