Canon R6 Autofocus Modes Explained

Hi. Not sure if this has been mentioned but you don’t have to press AF point selection button to move the AF point. That’s to bring up the options to switch between them. You can move the AF points the way you mentioned without pushing the button.

In the video @ 1:00. My menu AF-1 doesn't have "AF Method". It has "AF area", face & eye tracking is not an option. What is the problem?

If it had the canon 1dxiii or R3 knobby af on like lightning fast af auto fuckArse ! Button ! - Knob ! R6 ii PRO WILL HAVE same sensor as r3 plus new awesome af on knobby mouse like,thing !

Great video, thanks! I'm trying to figure out why I cannot access all my focus options on my R6. It will only let me access the first three options from face tracking to one point AF. I can see the others, but I cannot access them. Any help would be appreciated!

Question: So if you pick a zone, it will only try to focus on a face or eye if it is within the zone correct? Does this work the same for the spot focus...essentially the camera will only try to eye focus if you point the spot directly at a face?

Should I keep my canon 1dxii ? Or use (my 4 years old to only one owner me from adorama ) my 1dxii body only with double charger and 4 batteries as a trade in to get the R6 .....would this be a worthy upgrade? I shoot sports and portrait occasionally. More sports .... have canon ef trinity already.
