Youre right, landings are always tough in the evening. the first time i did an evening flight i couldnt see a thing when i landed. great video. watching the world all lit up at night is allways better from above.

Yet another great video! I love my Skyhunter and love watching yours as well. About the only times I get to fly are at dusk or just before dusk but with over an hour's worth of flight time, its easy to run out of light.

Hey thanks mate and the best times to fly and record are when the sun is at a lower angle of attack. You get some really contrasting colors. Flying the SkyHunter it makes FPV that much easier.

People who havent flown at night dont know how scary it can be, need to have a 100% reliable plane with instruments that dont make mistakes. Way to make it look easy! That light probably helps spotting that bad boy too. Awesome chill flight my man, great work!!

If you can scratch build one almost precisely then go for it. I do highly recommend anyone who FPV's moderate to long range to please fly this platform. I can say it is the best platform ever designed for multiple purposes. Keep me posted my friend.

Thanks. You're not the only one who said that to me. I do scratchbuilds as almost every rc pilot here flies scratchbuilds. But Almost everybody who fly FPV or mount camera/s on the plane, recommended kits and readymade pnp or rtf. I should have made my mind already by now, rather than keep scratchbuildings... trial and error over and over again. Thanks for your advice, my friend. I love those aerial shots.

Flying carefully and staying focused ☺Actually my setup allows me to fly at night and still know where I am and where I'm going safely. I also have bright 5w navigation lights for visual and amazingly you can spot the plane out over 2 miles. I hope I clarified but if not let me know with any specific questions. Thanks ☺

Aero, I admire your bravery flying at night like you do! I'm curious man, what sort of max linear distances do you fly away from yourself with your L9R? And what's your total flight time and distance on a flight like this? This was some really smooth flying from your SH! Thumbs up as always my friend.

The linear range with the L9R varies with location and time of day but on this flight and many similar flights I tend to fly and explore within a safe 5km / 3 mile semi circle with a pebberbox on the GS. Note I do have a 5db antenna mod on the tx and have exceeded 8km over open water with the L9R. These kinds of flights could have me in the air between 25 to 45 minutes with many mah to spare on my 10,000mah 4s. Hope this helps my friend.

Being in the NE corridor and arguably the most RF polluted region in America .. NY,NJ I can onlt fly ultra far by the Ocean as I have easily done a 12 mile trip down the coast and back. I can confidently exceed 20 miles with my setup.
