YOU HAVE TO BE USING YOUR MAIN CAMERA FOR THIS TO WORK WITH THE NEW ANDROID. If your camera is in selfie mode the options you get when you press the cog will be different. I wasted too much time before i figured this out lol.

Hi, I have a question/problem. I have a Samsung Galaxy s5 Version 4.4.2 and a Tzumi wired remote selfie stick. The camera function does not have a settings icon when I open the camera. It also has no editing function. I called Samsung and they told me to get a photo editing app. (I did some research online and read that many other owners of the same phone also got stuck with no camera editing functions.). Tzumi instruction sheet recommends uploading app camera360.com, which I did. I go into the app's Settings and tap the Gear icon, then Camera, then Volume Key Function set to "Capture." Yet, all the button on the selfie stick does is switch the camera mode back and forth between selfie and non-selfie (that is, what I see in the screen--myself or what's in front of the camera mode.) So basically, the stick is not working. I went through the trouble shooting instruction sheet. Guess I'm out of luck.

This does not work for S3. You have to get a 3rd party selfie app.
