Thanks a lot.... I own apache rtr 160 and it started consuming a lot of oil. My mechanic told me to replace the piston but then I was confused weather to buy block piston Or just piston because price difference is close to 2000 rs. I have Yamaha R15 2009 model. Coolant got into piston so we had to replace Piston. Yamaha service told me that they would replace whole cylinder kit approx charges 12k. But my local mechanic charged me 7.5k and he installed only piston. So I chose my local mechanic. He did not use new Cylinder kit as I know. After one year my bike started consuming lot of engine oil. I had to do oil change after every 500km. Then I realised my bike is in problem. Choosing the reboring was worst decision I took. If I would have gone with my service centre, my bike would be in good condition. I highly recommend you guys to go with installing the new Cylinder kit and get it done by service centre. Valve - 600 Valve seal -300 Cylinder kit - 1500 Water pump - 900 Packing kit - 250 Engine Oil - 550 Coolant - 160 Oil filter - 80 Valve guard - 400 Labour - 1500 Threebond - 70 Kharad - 500

Local mechanics DO NOT HAVE THE PRECISION MACHINES TO REBORE CORRECTLY. THEY WILL DESTROY YOUR ENGINE. BEWARE! 3 TIMES REBORING WAS DONE AND MECHANIC GAVE - 3 months guarantee! 😒. Do not give to service center also for reboring - because it is highly dependent on the SKILL of the technician and the condition of the machinery. My friend spent 17K rupees on this junk work on his Activa (2005). Now mechanic is telling him to sell to KABAADIWALA - Nice way to cheat!

For 4-stroke engine Oversize 2 Piston dia: 53mm+0.5mm= 53.5mm For 2-stroke engine: Oversize 1= 53+0.10 =53.10mm Oversize 2 = 53+0.20= 53.20mm I am a lesrner. Thank you for sharing these automobile knowledge sir. 🙏

Bahut hi upyogi aur aasani se aapne itne important point ko samjhaya is ke liye dhanyavad. Sir, main ye janana chahta hu ki tvs scooty zest 110 meinsirf valve cover ya head gasket ko badal dene se (agar cut gai hai to) spark plug mein engine oil aana band ho jayega ya kuchh aur bhi karna parega. Spark plug ki tip ya us ke andar oil aane aur use thik karne ke upar bhi ek video banane ki kripa karein 👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏

Today i went to mechanic and rebore my honda aviator 2010 model which has clocked about 49.5k kms and now my engine oil is consuming more so without any plan i visit to my local all time mechanic for solution. Total cost for reboring to 0.25 Block bore that cost me = Rs 100 Pistom USHA brand 0.25 Rs = 750 Valv = Rs 380 Valv sil = 80 Head Gaid =180 Head gaarening = 150 Oring = 70 Mobil motul sae 10w 30 = Rs 370 Mechanic charge = 600 Packing = 120 Total = 2800 + i change my ignition lock system that cost me 500 Sub total = 3300 * with full bike washing and service done* He suggest me that *don't ride more than 40km/h speed till 500km * Change bike engine oil early about 1500km. Please tell me does he charged me more.
