Proof of work will always, always win over proof of stake. I mined ETH with GPU rigs. GPU rigs were a lot more complex to build and configure than BTC ASIC appliances. It is a joke. And right now all miners worldwide are getting 450 BTC per day. 4 years from now that will go down to 225 BTC. You think miners will be able to afford it? Most will quit, except for a few large outfits. Bitcoin mining will be centralized like a bank's servers. What happens if terrorists send a few drones to these mining complexes? ETH staking is more complex. You need to have 32 ETH for solo staking, a hefty computer, internet, electricity, a building, etc. Then there is a waiting list to become a validator. There are over 1 million validators already. Adding ASIC miners to a BTC pool is a lot easier than setting up an ETH validators. Could that mean that Ethereum is now more secure than Bitcoin?

@@jp6951 That won't happen. Transaction fees will sustain miners and prevent 'centralisation'. For a short time recently transaction fees exceed the block subsidy. Plus if large mining pools are taken out, the hash-rate adjusts to make cheaper mining more profitable, bringing more miners into the system. It's a built in safety mechanism to prevent the very thing you stated.

I bought both BTC & ETH but sold when I found no sensible reason to buy either of them outside of being a trader scalping an easy opportunity buying the bottom of a dip just to collect some tips.. They cost too much now for max opportunities now, they are too slow & cost too much to utilize. 51Billion in hacks already on ETH this yr alone . I use tech with value in it's real world utility.. faster, cheaply used & more secured Blockchain networks that keep liquidity available 24/7 365... It isn’t fast enough, nor cheap enough to transact with, in the capacity necessary to be what the maxis want it to be. At best, btc will be the 1.5x safe play that is regulated into a security blanket for multinational corporations to extract the wealth of impulsive people and their minute amounts of capital. It won’t challenge the Rothschild/Rockefeller/Dupont banking cartels, it’ll become lockstep with them. The enemy you face, no, we face, because no matter how much we disagree, we’re on the same team(a fact you don’t seem to understand) the enemy is brilliant, actual brilliance. Btc is not sufficiently set up to combat these institutions, because it doesn’t have the power to be its own transaction method, it’ll have to use the CBDC, therefore, it’s able to be denied, able to be quelled. Btc will be a facade of freedom, and those who don’t understand will buy in believing they’re the revolutionaries, without realizing they’re standing next to a bloody wall, waiting their turns. 😂😂🙈 I like Saylor but he is a Bitcoin maxi and his views on any other token are biased. All 3 points he made are not accurate. Eth is much better tech than BTC and is by far most adopted. Yes, it needs improving for congestion taxes (gas fees) but only due to being so popular. Issuance is not a problem. ADA is good tech but there are hundreds just as good or better! Nothing special. Eth has 1st mover advantage and legacy. It is also not a security thus ETF's although they needed to remove staking to achieve that. BTC could be considered a security if once it reaches, for example $150k and lots of people borrow against it , we could end up in a bad situation, debt crisis.
