Great video! I have experienced lately where they want me to create products just for them, without certain things in them that I use. To customize just for them. I said my recipe is such and such and I add the item and I can’t change it for just for one person. I talked with them about it, I would have to buy x amount and pay shipping etc to get make what you want and others may not want. It takes more time but I think communication is key and you did just that. I’m not so desperate for sales to tell her no. Sometimes I really don’t think they understand that you are a business and just can’t make all the ideas they have for you to make. Sometimes when I don’t feel like explaining all the things, I say that is a great idea! Sometimes that’s all it takes, they are listened to.😊

You hit it on the nail. Most people like to be heard. I’ve done that before. “ Thank you for the feedback, I’ll keep that in mind when I’m thinking of adding or changing anything”. I’ve said I would do custom but the cost would be xyz…. Then they say they are not interested. 😉

Wow this video was 🔥 You hit on so many good points: jumping in and getting started, not complaining about having to pay fees, your stuff not being for everyone, not being a burden on family and friends…I felt what you were saying throughout this video. More of this content needs to be shared❤

Honestly I was a little afraid. I’m a little passive aggressive at times with my delivery ( I’m from MN… it’s our thing😂). But RC Blakes really got me thinking when he said “ I’m built for this” Thank you for watching! I hope you are doing well! Good luck with the new season!

For your students, they can just substitute babassu oil for palm - exact same ounces. I've done it with multiple recipes and it works just fine. The no processing fees made me laugh a little 😂

I haven’t tried subbing. The issue is I’d have to order a product I don’t use myself, then store it and I batch everyone’s at the same time. So with me charging the class at my price point I’m at, it’s not worth it. While I have to say no to it and it’s not what I wanted to do, it’s more time to order, pay shipping on another product and time batching separately….. Thank you for watching!
