Good Morning Taco - - General area of New Hope, Newtown, Bristol, Lambertville area was just basically dealing with aftermath of the storm ... Some roads closed, bridges blocked off, Some tree damage, very high levels in the various local creeks and rivers .... Thus people were not in a shopping mood ... (Sometimes you eat the bear and other times the bear eats you) ..... Have a good day and there is always tomorrow ....

In Houston TX if it is 45 out nobody is doing jack outside I am really surprised a flea in a more norther state would even be open from November to the end of March.

@@DJboutit2 Hi do you live in Houston? My eldest son, daughter in law and Grandchildren are in Spring near Houston living and working. My daughter in law works for Exxon Mobil in HR Management. I have been very worried about them seeing the storms and even tornadoes on UK TV, any news that could reassure me.? Julie in Chester.

Another entertaining video. I feel your frustration, my driveway is gravel and it frequently gets washed out. I have added Quik Crete to the gravel and it helped. Thanks letting me tag along TS.

Hi from Ky. I have a gravel driveway too. We were told not to put salt on it. It does something to the dirt causing it to become very soft. So we've never put salt on it. We have used kitty litter. Lol. We've also picked up used concrete slabs that were broken to fill in the ruts. That worked pretty good. Hope your driveway problems get better!😅

I love it when you do a weather report of where you are at the time. And also at your home. I live in Florida and enjoyed very much seeing the snow. I grew up on the East Coast so I know all the issues with snow. It is beautiful seeing the results of a snow storm. One day a snow is plenty long enough. Just so you don't have to drive in it. So thanks for filming the snow. Enjoyed it so much.

In my neck of the woods we used quick Crete to lock the small stone down sprinkling the dry powder when it’s not too wet or about to rain hard usually there’s enough moisture to make it stay in place till it can dry and set. May have to do it in the worst places a few times before it gets well set into place. Don’t know if it’d work for you but might be worth a try.

If I'd seen it that dead, I might have turned around and gone home. The storm that killed the flea made a bit of a mess up by me too. Puddles and wet basements mostly. Note to Taco: no power means no customers. (they have bigger fish to fry. The blue and white pottery - Bombay Company, a mall store that was at its height in the mid-90s. Closed down since. My driveway is paved, so I don't have to deal with gravel personally. My church did for years though until they got smart and paved the parking lot.

Like you said Brother, the joy of having a gravel driveway! At some point it will find it's level and the maintenance won't be as much. You're young enough, you may even see that day! 😂😂😂 I enjoy your videos! A total on your day would be nice though. But any sale is better than sitting home making nothing. Keep this going Brother!

Well Taco at least you sold some things so it wasn’t a total washout (no pun intended). Maybe you should start setting some cash aside to one day get your driveway asphalted. Just a thought! Just think about it and put in a driveway and it will cost you 3000$ but every time it rains or storms or snow you will still have that driveway. Plus gives your house more equity when you sell it

I agree, I wrote yesterday that the area where he loads & unloads the van would be so much better if it was paved. It might help with the continuing flooding in his basement

There’s a few KZbin videos on gravel driveway repair. Key to long gravel sloped is multiple 16:34 slightly slanted depressions that cross the drive. Those depressions direct allow water to flow to side versus flow the entire length of drives thus washing even compacted gravel away.

Looks so cold there. I'd try and sell those blue & white dishes when there are more people around. Probably too many people doing storm clean up. We are bracing for 7-12+ inches of snow, 35-50 mile an hr wind gust!!

One time I sold at cowtown in the winter There was four vendors including me.. ugh!!! I sold something way too cheap just to make some money.. no vendors.. ugh.. no money… the die hards will always come shop

Get some bags of ready mix concrete and place them along areas that drain off. Don’t empty the bags and it will harden and keep your gravel in place. Just an idea.

I think you should get with a couple buddies and do a sale in a building or barn. If a few of you do the sale together, hopefully make ut worh your while in the Winter. Maybe set it up the day before.
