I don’t know if you have them there but here we have record shows. People come in and sell their records, tapes, CD’s etc. Might be an avenue to sell the records and CD’s.

Taco its true you had too many boxes of cd's out. Next time just put a couple of boxes out and leave the others in the van. That way if u get a cd enthusiast comes along and asks if you have more you can always show them the other boxes. Enjoyed watching you sell at flea market. Very interesting.

You are right about bringing a lot of same things to flea markets. We found that out when consigning at a local auction. Bring one set of vintage drinking glasses and they go for a high price. Bring ten sets and they all sell low. People do not fight to buy or bid when they see lots of same stock. They think why rush to buy, look at all they have, or why bid on this one when they have eight other sets. Human nature I guess.

If people are buying the prints by the case, you should be asking if they are interested in more. If they are, pre-sell them so you know how many cases to bring. Maybe someone is interested in buying all of them, this would free up a lot of space in your warehouse for winter

Best way to get rid of cds in bulk is ebay bulk listing by genre. Put a lot of 50 or higher you'll average about $.50-$.70 cents a cd. It takes awhile to sell but it's worth it. Shipping is media which is cheap as well.

I agree. My friend had a ton of CD's she sold in packs of a dozen for 10 bucks and did pretty well getting rid of them. His are already sorted by genre so it wouldn't be that hard.

Everyone else making comments is exactly what I’m thinking you need to invest in more tables try to put the albums up on the table so people don’t have to bend over it makes easier shopping for them and better sales for you CDs albums don’t take a lot of space you have storage also you could wait till next spring or sell in lots on eBay

bring extra milk crates ,upturn them and rest record boxes on top easy on the back..dvds .. put a big sign on them 3 for a buck etc,and the canvas pics are so nice maybe put some at the front of the stall ,will sell like hot cakes ,just needs an interfering womens touch lol

CD's are not out of style. :lots of action on both cd's and vinyl in my area.

CDs seem to be at their bottom now and it's a great time to get in on it. Kind of like how people were practically giving away good vinyl back in the day. I've been buying stacks (good titles too, not the junk) for what I used to pay for one disc. I don't expect them to have the following vinyl does, but I do think it's going to make somewhat of a comeback.

The used CD stores here in SD have priced at 7.99 for the last 25 years with some bargains on overstocked or less popular stuff. I don't know how brisk sales are though. One thing is for sure...I definitely wish I had hit the streets a lot more back when people were selling their good vinyl for cheap.

Here is what to do when you find something that says "Make an Offer". Find the dealer and say "What is the least you will take for this." It puts the ball in their court, yet it does not commit you to buy. You can always say, "I was looking for (this item) for less." If they are close to what you will pay. OR If not, you say " OK thanks, I need to think about it." Which gets you out of there.
