Hi Carmella, We very rarely eat out. I’d say 3 times per month. We just love eating at home and Ray is such a great chef 🧑‍🍳! We eat simple so it’s easy! Please don’t let being afraid of Denge fever stop you from coming here. There aren’t a lot of mosquitos around here that we’ve noticed and you can use citronella oil if you’re worried. I have not met anyone that has had Denge fever here. I know it exists, just haven’t met anyone who has had it. 🙏🏼💜

Those words reach out to me, and you will help, music to my ears. I don’t want to be a pest and inundate you, but I am planning to come around June. This will be my trip to find out if I like the town you are in and can I exist here happily. I believe I can because I’m very adaptable, but like you say, you have to get rid of everything and I’ve started doing that already. I was interested to hear that you brought five suitcases. I had planned on two. I live in Australia so it’s quite different from where you are from in the US, But roughly what would you have paid per suitcase? Maybe if it’s not too expensive for me, I could bring three and not leave quite everything I would like to have around me. Looking forward to your comments.

We flew business class so we got an extra carry on with no charge. We were allowed to bring 4 pieces with no extra charge and we paid 150.00 for the 5th piece!

Hi! The Soi dog situation in Bangkok was nonexistent where we lived in the Sathorn area. We had a nice area we walked Fiona daily. ☺️
