If you were to sell the car for a corvette I believe your best options would be a c7 GrandSport, or a c6 Zo6. Obviously the c7 would be newer and give a different experience than the Camaro. However a Zl1 5th gen are becoming increasing harder to find. Not many people have them as opposed to a standard ss. I think those are your best options. Great content!

Keep it! Add a Magnuson 2650 Supercharger, 9.55 lower pulley, heads cam, DX injectors for e85, 103 throttle body, 5" Big Gulp air cleaner,Monster S triple disk clutch, MM catch can with cooling mods? It can still be a daily driver with those mods! It will be the most fun you can have with a HP build!! Best of luck on your decision! ✌ If you decide to sell it? Dude get anything as long as it’s LS/LT. I had mine 2010 Ls3 SS since 2018. I started with simple cold air intake. 1-2 years later. I added 1 7/8 long tube headers than a year later. I added stage 3 231/246, .641"/.615", 111 LSA 7.40 Chromoly Pushrod, Set of 16 199- TSPPACPOL660SPRINGKIT; TSP Polished .660" Dual Valve Spring Kit Featuring PAC Valve. (At 126k miles) Had a friend who’s a technician for James wood. Helped me out. He did a awesome job. He showed me how it’s done. . The only issue we came across was the cam was a 3 bolt so I needed a 3bolt sprocket (got one oem from summit) and arp bolts. bank 1 lifter was done. So he had to take the driver side head off and he replaced all the lifters on the driver side since the head was already out. Didn’t mess with the passenger cause he told me lifters are still good on the passenger side. Been driving it for a year now and no issues. It’s not a DD though. Cam really gives me a lot of buck if you have the rpm 1-1.5k range. You have to literally cruise at at least at 2k rpm. Other than that it’s really not bad in the traffic and I haven’t went to crazy with it yet. Go with a stage 2 tbh but here one thing. I got a N/A cam so I seen some cams are meant for boost I believe . So just keep that in mind.

Honestly if its financially posable I would keep the Camaro and get something else. I started watching your videos at the beginning of this year, and they keep getting better and I can't lie when I say the Camaro is the reason I started watching as its a dream car of mine (thanks to bumblebee) but no matter what your decision the videos are great.

The electrical problems of a C6 are an absolute nightmare, especially in FL. I ended up selling mine for a 2015 ZL1 and absolutely love it

i’d say get a C7 stingray! any modification will look good on the Corvette. It’s more lighter, the interior looks better than 6th maro and c7 has unique hood especially catches people’s attention more than maro on the streets 👀

I would say sell it & go buy 6Gen Camaro SS! That way you will still have a Camaro or if u want get a corvette if u want to spice things up!?? But if u get a 6Gen Camaro can can still modify how u want and still base your Camaro off of other Camaros such as the ZL1 1le or z28 etc… and you will get more features for ur car and 455hp from stock higher speed limit which I think is 200mph But I’ll support your decision either way I love watching your car content ❤

I own a 2013 LS3 convertible since 10 years. I still love and keep it. This is a car, which is authentic with a soul and charakter. That's why a modern car cannot substitute the 5th Gen Camaro. Grtz from Germany

Keep it, it’s yours and it’s a beautiful body as it sits. Build it into what you want without the payments on top of modding it. If I wouldn’t have lost my 13 Chally R/T which you’re making me want to get a 10-15 SS from these vids. I’d be on my way to installing a cam. So because of you I want a 13 SS and do everything I wanted to my R/T to this second dream car. Built not Bought in my opinion.

As someone who’s watch the channel from the very beginning and the way the economy is heading with high inflation and interest I would suggest definitely taking your Camaro to the next level it’s paid off and there discontinuing the Camaro a built motor some suspension work and boost would be the way yes it is expensive of course but way less then having to finance a car and maybe then when your ready for a new project the economy will start to improve if that but whatever you decide I can’t wait to see what u do cheers on paying it off about to be done with my 5th gen Camaro nearly done with the loan and will have it paid off 2 years early

I am in the exact situation as you. Ive owned my 12 SS for 8 years now. I have the itch for something different. As i get older (63) i am wanting more room than my Camaro offers. I am really wanting a Scat Pack Challenger. BUT the Camaro is long paid for & has been one of the most reliable cars that I have ever owned. I have finally, as you got the car to the point where I want it to be mod wise. Tough decision.

I think you should keep it and take a risk and get a Corvette next to it. Having both of those platforms on the channel I believe will grow it exponentially with giving us subscribers the best of both worlds. Your 5th Gen is just a gem of a car and everything you put into it you should 100% keep it. I would say look into a C7 Vette.

Honestly if you sell it, get a built c6... Whether thats a c6 z06 or a procharged c6 grandsport thats up to you. If you get a Camaro get a built 5th gen ZL1 or a built 6th gen SS.

Sold my synergy green 2011 camaro and got 2023 LT1 in rapid blue. Even though I like my new one and it has a v8 now I still regret and miss my 5th gen and want to get another someday but an ss. Just consider before you get rid of it because it may leave an emptiness that will be hard to fill.

Keep it. Put on a procharger and call it a day. No matter what you get there will always be someone faster. I could have got a corvette but I don't personally care how the look after the C3. Great performance sure but someone is always faster. If you just gotta get something else how about going old school like late 60's early 70's muscle cars? Or something out of the 50's?

I wouldn't say it's for being the fastest but tryingh out a new platform. Eventually I'd love to get a Gen 1 Camaro but those are crazy expensive restored and I dont have the facilities to restore now.

selling this car to get a 5th gen zl1 to me doesn't make sense. If you boosted your car you wouldn't have to beef up as much as you think. Stock ls3 internals are pretty strong and stock tr6060 can handle alot. I overbuilt my 5th gen Camaro I don't regret doing it but I lot of the stuff I did was unnecessary.

Keep it….Add a supercharger (Magnusson or Eaton). More power gives a car a new feel and drive. Also a repaint in same color? It would cost $15-$20K but money well spent.

Id suggest keeping the car and saving for both camming and a separate car. Even if it takes longer to do either one, I think it'd be more valuable to you to go that route. I think that if you sold the camaro you'd end up regretting it regardless of how much you love the new car. And as far as the channel, ik I'll still be watching you even if it's just you ripping through the streets and nothing "new".

Trade it in for 6th gen SS. 6th gen’s are more reliable, daily driver friendly, and maintenance friendly than a 5th gen zl1, while still being not too much slower than a zl1 5th gen (8 and 10speed). Zl1 looks better but a 6th gen 1le looks pretty damn good too! Life’s too short settle!
