I love seeing Salsa patrolling her yard. I remember when Taco would have her on leash outside so she wouldn't take off. It makes me smile when I remember when she would freeze if he dropped the leash. She is a beautiful dog.

I just read 2 useful comments I was going to suggest about the wood. One to prop it up, so people can see it, and 2 label what kind of wood it is. Most people have no idea what is good wood or flimsy wood. Just like trash picking , if it’s not visible you’ll probably miss it.

My 2 cents, provide a bag of a certain size and sell the kids clothes 5$ a bag. Boards on marketplace? The donation is great too. Interesting bit about the abundance of clothes. We had a wildfire destroy 15 homes in White Swan, although they are still requesting household items they put out a statement saying they are accepting no more clothes. Peace

Fun day today. I would buy all that black walnut in a heartbeat if I was on the same coast. Although somewhat susceptible to insects it handles weather well. Easy to saw, chisel, and sand with stability & strength so it is often used to make furniture. A clear coat of varnish is best as it is a pretty wood with fine grains, a bit of porosity, and interesting patterns in the burls. Who'd want to paint over the Mona Lisa, right? The complete burls make some gorgeous bowls when turned on the lathe but that's not what you have here.

You should try Schultz Tomatoe food. I have used it for the last 5 years with outstanding results. This year I'm already picking fresh cucumbers and cherry tomatoes. I planted 1 week after mothers Ray. Last year I had a tomatoes plant over 7 foot tall and produced tomatoes until the end of October.
