I finally got through the induction process! Submitted my first products.. They were all rejected unfortunately.. I was gonna give up. But after watching this video, I think I'm gonna give It a second shot

why were they rejected? And do you need to have a business registered to sell?

They always give reasons for rejection. Mine was poor image quality. No you don't need to be registered

I would like to know. If you stock an item does takealot require u to have the item at their warehouse? Or are we allowed to sell wait for customers to pay then purchase and send to Takealot warehouse? Coz you could buy an item that probably won't sell and that would be a waste to the seller?

Thanks for the info. It seems from your experience that if you're not keeping stock at TA then you have to have a really good courier to avoid violating the KPIs.

That is correct, and very risky. As we all get warnings from time to time.

If the offer doesn't exist. Then you have to create a new product. I have a video about how to add a product to takealot.

Hey yes, but less than R120 retail price I would aim to get these in stock. The Selling Commission is ~15% and ~R32 per delivery. And you still have to make a markup.
