Regardless of what happens, we have several more videos to make on this car. It will still see the dyno, and we'd like to get it on the track before anything final goes down. Unfortunately, we NEED to get rid of one or both of the cars if we want to build anything new. If this is enough reason to make you un-sub then just do it, you weren't a real fan anyway.

Don't build anything new if thats the corner your in. Push with what you've got content wise and a bigger space will come in time. Then you'll have more content revenue and space than you know what to do with. I'm telling you tho whatever you decide, selling your icon this early in the game will only fork your watcher base. Most come for the longevity a channel has to offer, not how fast you can flip a 80% product. I get it, many people have their hands in this and I'm sure they need profits but this isn't the way. Think long term here and it will provide :)

Idk if you’d want it on your channel again but I’ve been considering getting rid of my capri. If you want something unique, a ford Capri is it. Comes pre-disassembled even. Suppose it’s a bit too similar to the Datsun though.

My thinking man, the Turbo 240z put ya'll on the map. Atleast it got the algo pushing your content more down in the east coast US. IMO I'd keep it and keep pushing, I've seen very limited content on it running good and would love to see more.

11 out of 10 intro/ad, love it! Sad to see the 240z go, but the reasoning makes sense, so. Would love to see more 1 rotor shenanigans, it's just a very unique engine. Rob (Dahm) also said he'd like to do a 1 rotor, but for now it seems he's got his hands full with 2, 3 and 4 rotors, so there's definitely room for the Brapster in theh world as well!

for a "crazy ass build", you could delve in to the world of aero/marine engined cars. some wierd, powerful engines there. 1000hp Diesel V12s, 7cyl radial engines, bizarre flat 2s, the lot

I suggested a Mad Max style inspired build and with an engine like you suggest, it'd be a head turner. Might get sued though, for giving people whiplash from how fast their heads would spin around to look.

Doing aero engines you will quickly get to Allison 1710 or Rolls-Royce Merlin V12s, as these are powerful, still possible to find for sale and will fit in a large car somehow. A Ford Crown Victoria police cruiser with an Allison would be a fun crazy build (but may be already done by some Swedish people, remember seeing a video about that a while ago)

The crazy thing for me is that found you guys AFTER i brought a pair of boosted shades like 3-4 years ago that i still use to this day and i randomly found you guys after watching you make the teardrop exhaust for the 240z and i never looked back, you guys are amazing! Oh and everyone boosted shades are legit! not a scratch on mine after dropping them so many times, still holding together they are 100% worth a purchase. Only thing I was upset about was that we didn't get to see the 240Z on the dyno or at the strip. Then I read your pinned comment. Go ahead and do whatever you guys need to do! Test drove an rx8 back in the day - I have never felt more like a car was laid out perfectly for me. Shifter, wheel, pedals...everything felt naturally where it should be. I'm pumped to see something done with one on the channel. Just wish I could insure a swapped one here easier.

What about swapping a turbo inline 3 into an RX8? Like from a mini or fiesta ST. They sound cool and would hopefully keep the weight balance similar to the renesis. It would probably be super fun even if you could only squeeze 250-300hp. The torque would be a massive difference

What happened to the knighthawk, the death cart, the one rotor, the 2 X 2stroke dirt bikes. We had cooking and shooting at one point too. Motorbike vlogging... The jeep engine swap. I'd love to have seen that superbeetle running a working engine... What happened to that? I don't mind if you shift the cars on but please finish them and enjoy them a bit. More invested in the Datsun than the 911, that thing ate Chinese turbos, got a wide body kit then we don't see it again. Let's see track days, time attacks, drag strips. Road trips. Build stuff finish it enjoy it break it rebuild it enjoy it sell it.

I would love to see a wicked two stroke build! Maybe a pair of marine two-stroke V4 with linked crankshafts for a DIY high HP, lightweight 2-stroke V8. Or, I would love to see y'all go for some extreme level of power to weight ratio. Like, could you attain a Formula 3 car level ratio of 3 lbs./HP (1200 lbs. and 380 HP)? That would require a lot of very trick work to keep the weight down and you'd end up with something that felt like a rocket ship!

I always thought it would be sweet to stick a cummins R2.8 into a mazda rx8; Just some food for thought. In my opinion you should at least try and keep the Datsun because it has become such an icon for the channel. But I also see what you mean as far as funding further projects. Talk of rotaries and a famous rob dahm-esk ending, I think I like where this is going. I love the rx-8 platform and the idea of a rather lightweight engine going in with probably almost triple the power could be exciting to say the least. Sad to see the Datsun go though, I'm a suckered for diesel cars, will eventually track my tdi like darkside developments if I ever have more than a few bucks in my account lol

Everyone already wrote something about the one rotor so no point in adding to the pile. The Mazdarati project sounds fun, would really like to see it happen, other than that, some stuff with some lesser known good engines, don't really care about the chassis, YT is full of JZs RBs and LSes, you bring a breath of fresh air with your well done original projects. I also like how you don't make your cars just "SEMA ready(TM)" but really take care to finish the projects.

And the question was in my mind halfway the video, and was partially answered at the end, what happened to the single rotor build? Maybe you should try to make some raw videos on both cars before you sell them. Like raw sound or raw POV or something. For the RX-8, for something truly different, get a WRX/STI spec Subaru boxer in there. Get the CG even lower than it already was!

I personally hope to build a V6 rx8 in the future. The datsun made me love the 0M606 but building the car can be most of the fun and very satisfying. When it's time to move on to the next thing it is what it is keep it moving😁
