I feel the same way about laundry day. I don’t mind washing and drying but when it comes to folding, it seems like it’s never ending. My closet looks just like yours before you declutterred. Thank you for the motivation, I’m going to start decluttering soon.😊

Family of 4 here....laundry is definitely a chore I don't love but my routine and mindset is just do it and put it away all in the same day! Your shrimp tacos looked good but Chipotle is definitely an acquired taste. I never liked it before I married my Mexican hubby who encouraged me to give it another try and now I like it. Looking forward to the next video!

Hi Selma :) I do like watching your laundry routine, exactly because it is so different froum ours! as you say, everyones situation is different and our cleaning routines have to reflect that. That being said, we still can inspire each other. We are a household of two, and do not have a dryer (we just do not need it). Having to walk around the drying rack forces us to put away our laundry relatively soon after it is dry 😅 also asi I fold I create piles according room/closet or even drawer instead of according to people (this works well with bigger groups of people too). This way I go to each storage place only once. And my sock-loosing-prevention is - no mater what I make sure all socks are in one load, even If we have more loads to wash, socks have priority 😅 Love seeing your happy family, take care ❤

Thanks Selma as always providing some much needed motivation! I agree about creating a positive community that uplifts one another..it is so very important in the times we live in. We live near my husbands family now and my family is back in Louisiana..I have my moments but we video chat, text and check in. Girl, I'm a foodie so I am definitely going to check those shrimp tacos out! My hubby isn't a seafood person either but me and my oldest love it. I love chipotle sauce on my subs and my hot dog. It is so good. You're not lying about being in the kitchen all day washing dishes 😂. We have a dishwasher too but just haven't gotten any cleaner for it. I've been tackling my room, next is my closet 😅and my kids room. I'm sure you will come up with a system for y'all's shoes. You could even have a set up in the garage by y'all's door when you are about to walk in against the wall. Thanks girl! Y'all take care and be safe. 🙏🏻

I get everything I have to do done even when I don't want to. But I reward myself after lunch date or glass of wine and a good book. You are doing great been watching for a long time. I have Hispanic kids so Spanglish is fine with me.

I had the same issue with my dishwasher and there was a small piece of toothpick stuck in the motor that made the spinners/rinsers move water around. So the dishwasher was sort of filling up but no water was getting sprayed around so there would be soap left, exact same as you described. When I'd run the dishwasher I wouldn't hear the sound of the spraying/agitation that you normally hear. It was a really quick fix and it's times like that I'm thankful I rent and can have someone else fix it 😅 but I made sure to learn how in case it happened again

I would love some Spanish videos. I'm not fluent by any means, but I do pick up some words here and there. I'm from Texas. I feel the more I am around Spanish language, the more can learn. ❤ I'll watch your videos either way ❤😊

Throw the soap at the bottom of the dishwasher. Sometimes something can be blocking the area of the soap dispenser and it won’t release. My utensils tray was blocking it. No more problems.

So true with the Spanish lol being a bilingual speaker I understand completely. My native tongue is English but tell me why I find myself thinking of something in Spanish at times lol. And when someone asks to translate something you find yourself struggling to explain not because you don't know but because it sounds so different in English 😂

You shouldn’t have to apologize for how you cook. People can follow your recipes or make ti there own or just not do them. I’m in awe how well you speak English. I took Spanish in high school let me tell you , you speak English much better than I speak Spanish. I think it’s hard to learn how to speak another language ❤️

I understand Spanglish so I get you lol You should definitely do some Spanish videos. If I may give my two cents... Maybe make a separate channel just for Spanish speakers. You can use the same videos you upload but in doing the commentary, maybe do it once in English and again in Spanish. Not sure if that makes sense. This way you're just doing the commentary twice instead of a whole separate video. I don't know. Keep doing you, girl. Love your videos. Always encouraging and motivating.
