The key here is the requirement is for Cow Ghee and not Buffalo Ghee. No state in the country except Karnataka or KMF can even provide the quanitity necessary to make required number of laddus. There is no choice but to go with KMF.

KMF has been supplying ghee to TTD for decades. Last year, when YSR congress govt was there in AP, they have dropped nandini, and gave order to some other company. When Naidu came to power this year, he restored nandini. There is nothing to do with heritage
