Yes you have to buy a stock 32 frame to get a vin number or go to Highway Patrol and they will give you then only after the car is finished so you can smog it

That is on the frame, not the body.

@@treetrimmerguy2 The 34 Ford is stamped permanently on the frame, yes, you are right about different locations, my 34 has a loose plate in the glove box and one riveted to the firewall... Those are after market plates. The original is on the frame.
