I just love looking at how they display the tools. Just so I can get ideas for my shop.

I"m a HUGE fan of Tekton. 90% of my wrenches and ratchets are Tekton in my shop. I buy Knipex pliers cuz they're superior.

As a diesel tech, I love my tekton wrenches. I must say tho, I wanna start seeing their stuff start coming in trays. Screwdriver sets, wrench sets etc. Let's step it up.
@marcowens72342 жыл бұрын
Their screwdrivers are junk Sockets and wrenches are good.
@allanb32222 жыл бұрын
I don't like the trays, they take up to much space.

@UCJAtMHLEwpbmr2sAWD9SiMA .. Most of there tools are made in Taiwan, not China. That's a big difference. Taiwan is a USA allies
@strikeforcek91492 жыл бұрын
@Dick Trickles why can't they make 100% of their products in the US? Because they're a small family owned and operated company out of Michigan and the only way to compete in the high quality tool market is to be able to competitively price with the others of their caliber. If they started straight at 100% US production they'd have SnapOn level pricing, and no one other than hardcore fanboys or garage Divas can rationalize spending that much on tools. The other 90% of the country just want good, affordable, reliable tools with a solid lifetime warranty at a decent price.
@strikeforcek91492 жыл бұрын
@Dick Trickles ... none of their tools are made in China... You're making a TON of assumptions, without doing any actual research or actual facts behind the stuff you're trying to spew out. Tekton tools are LEAGUES ahead of anything you can buy at Harbor Freight and are more along the lines of USA Craftsman, Williams, SK, and other industrial tool brands. A good deal of their stuff is actually even better than the tool truck guys (their twist lock socket trays for example). That's why they're growing so rapidly compared to where they were just a couple years ago in the market.
@scrappinfam62 жыл бұрын
Never heard of this brand yet.

I want ergo grip and locking flex head ratchets. Tekton could change the entire industry if they had more tool truck options. More USA products would also go a long way. They need to rebrand their USA line as Tekton Pro or something and keep the Taiwan line as regular Tekton.
@ericcampbell23602 жыл бұрын
If tekton can source usa tools at 25% then Matco has no excuse
@1tbtools2 жыл бұрын
That’s actually a great idea @rawevoli
@fishingmontana15642 жыл бұрын
I am really messy with my tools so I don't like ergo grip but I like your thinking
@Natedawolfman2 жыл бұрын
I actually suggested that 2 years ago to them and customer support said they have no plans for anything of that sorts. And that they're going to continue producing and selling what makes sense and what is cost efficient but still with quality
@uther102 жыл бұрын
Nice. Those new torque wrenches look good.
@Lasershamm2 жыл бұрын
still no offset reversible ratcheting wrenches

I am a self admitted Snap On junkie. That being said, I have started buying Tekton USA tools for my mobile cart and I love them!!! I also have Tekton USA on my service truck. Please manufacture more of your quality tools in the USA!! Tekton could put the tool trucks out of business if they made all of their tools in the USA!!
@WesM7572 жыл бұрын
My favorite brand! Customer service is top notch!

We need local stores to start carrying tekton tools, that way we can get tools warranty. I think that's one of the biggest issues with hand tools sometimes it's a pain to get a simple wrench or socket warranty
@alaskanbull3tpoint2 жыл бұрын
Just got the 38 pc combination wrenches, the 3/8 drive sockets, and some bigger combos. Next will be the 30*/60* in SAE and then 3/4 drive stuff 😆
@shaunmaxwell27452 жыл бұрын
Did they say a potential price/release date on those split beam torque wrenches?
@1tbtools2 жыл бұрын
Yes, it’s was under $150. Not bad. The release date was EOY pending logistics challenges.

God I've been wanting one so bad but snap on charging 400+ for one is ridiculous

Good tools I've used the sockets for awhile now. That said I dont know if they are really any better than Pittsburgh pro line...side by side they seem close in quality. Pittsburgh 12 points are definitely cheaper but I've never had one cause any issues either.
