I feel like casual sex encounters don't really differ that much from masturbation. This false sense of conquering tries to manipulate your ego into considering it as an achievement, but it can give you similiar type of emptiness. Everyone should definitely experience it to understand whether or not is it fruitrul for them

I wonder what Ikkyu would say about this. I think there are pros and cons to either path, definitely trade offs. I think each person has to know what’s better for them, and why. I’ve definitely experienced some things that could be categorized as “higher pleasures” such as the mental clarity attained from fasting. But I sometimes look back at the masses going along unconsciously with the sheeple, enjoying the parties, eating the sugar, playing the dramatic dating games, etc, and it seems like they are enjoying life in their own way. Ignorance is bliss, so cliche but there’s definitely a truth there. Some of the least conscientious people I know seem to have the most fun and enjoyment in life. Sometimes I kinda wish I could just take the blue pill and lighten up and enjoy the ride, we all just die anyway.

Hey Seb. Could you make a video on how your diet affects retention? My longest streak has been 17 days and during that time I did not consume any red meat. I’m currently on Keto (high fat) and I seem to be relapsing all the time, despite a high desire not to. I’m actually considering coming off the diet completely, despite the fact I am losing weight. I should probably add that I am 6ft and 285lb, so pretty heavy - that being said, on the first time I ever retained for longer than a week, I turned heads as I walked down the street and had choosing signals from an amazingly beautiful woman. I did not approach her - regretfully. This practice is golden and I want to master it. Thanks in advance!

We can understand sexual karma as the strong desires, needs and wants we have for sexual satisfaction. It's when these desires bother you lots in everyday life and yet you know deep down they're not the truth. You want to "burn" through them (exhaust them and realise they're not the answer) so that you can then work on transcending them having confirmed that they are not the way.
