Semi auto gearbox dual mass flywheel faults

Peugeot 3008 1.6 HDi can’t drive. Fault of clutch realise bearing position sensor.
Vehicle done just over 58k miles.

Hi, input shaft speed sensor is inside the gearbox and this metal fragments only effect CSC position sensor

Would that make the car rock forward and back really bad in low gears?

Yes, mostly problem with this Garbox is a clutch, be more specific dual mass flywheel they must be replaced in full set. In first generation of this gearboxes the problem is come around 60-80K miles. On the newish around 100k. If you have more than that, you need one. Our costs for jobs like that is £1000-1200

Yes, it was from camshaft housing. Common fault on 1.6 HDI 8V engine.

Hi, my VAN Mercedes-Benz 313CDI, year 2005, 350 000 km with a semi automatic transmission do the following: when driving for some km it change to manual alone ! ! I stop the engine let it cool for a while and then start again and the semi automatic works again, but it is very annoying to do that always..Or I can continue my way with manual... Can I have your opinion before going to huge reparations? Thanks

Mine judders in 1st after a while driving and when in auto it flickers to manual mode then back any idea

Hi Today i had new clutch plate and presure plate and bearing installed in my mcp gearbox but after starting car and driving 2 km the bearing leaked and all actuator oil drained. Can you advise what could be reason? I want to avoid this problem again after another bearing installation

@@AbdulAli-fk2vu it was low quality (sachet company) bearing. I had to replace with expensive better quality. Bosch
