My mom had those tables when I was young. They were very popular. There were table skirts that when down to the floor that you would put under the glass. The glass top kept the cloth skirt on the table. Mom had a special vase and other things displayed on them. My sisters and I each had one next to our bed. The table skirt matched our bedskirt. Later when My sister moved out on her own she painted hers out pictures under the glass. Hope this helps.

pore strips can actually make your pores larger so they shouldn't be used to minimize pore size

You should put your eye creams in the fridge. Especially the ones with the metal tip. The cold makes the depuffing work even better in the morning.

Pore strips can make your pores larger. You should try using a bha or aha exfoliant instead. I know Paula's Choice has more information on pores so you should try searching there.
@truenorthstyle7 жыл бұрын
those tables were big in the early 90s. You would put fabric over the table/under the glass that matched your room, they'd sell fabric patterns for them and then you could store stuff under the skirt. I had one growing up.

Those tables are meant for long skirted table cloths and the glass rests on top. Think 1980s Laura Ashley and the bedroom from the movie Pretty and Pink
@nejojohnson7 жыл бұрын
I remember those glass top wooden tables from the early 90's! You'd put a dusky pastel tablecloth with a ruffled edge under the glass and stick a vase or lamp on it.
@smileBIGtime7 жыл бұрын
I had one of those tables in my room! It had been in there since at least the very early 90s , my bet is they came from jcpenneys because that's what my room was done from (I believe) and they had a table cloth that fit them perfectly which you laid on the table and than put the glass atop. I don't think they were meant to be bare! Also ! You could easily make them shorter just chop off a bit of the legs ! & I loved seeing your dad In the blogs ! It's weird he's not in them anymore - I'm sure you guys miss him a lot !

Can you do a review on The Ordinary products you use?
@momo42957 жыл бұрын
When it comes to putting on chemical exfoliators or other actives on your face make sure you start from the lowest pH and work your way up! Also, only combine actives if they are within the same pH range, for example, if you have a product that is around pH of 2-3 (which the AHA should be to be effective) and your serum is at a pH of 4 (which it should be to be effective, but it can also be lower) than you would wait about 15-30 minutes in between steps or else you will have a buffering effect (General chemistry). However, if they are both within a pH of 2-3 you can put them on at the same time. Also, I hope you start wearing sunscreen! Adding actives to your routine will make you more sensitive to the sun and make it easier for skin damage or cancer... Anything that is broad spectrum and a SPF higher than 40 should be good.

I find that dairy (before I was vegan) always made the Eustachian tubes in my ears clog up even worse when I had allergies, which is what causes all that stuff that you went to urgent care for. Just something to keep in mind. You may want to hold off on cheese, milk, cream, etc.

Also, salycilic acid helps to minimize black heads and pores. I have one by origins, but the ordinary has one too (haven't tried it yet). Pls check out the Peel & Polish by Pixi it is super gooooood. It has lactic acid and it makes my skin look so awesome after using it.

Melos (and maybe Steph as well), when you shoot I often see you with sparkling lids. Here it looks like you used a blue liner that happens to have sparkle in it, but for the other days when you wear makeup (or for other shoots) what do you use? (It's usually silver.) And also, does Ulta not sell that makeup remover? I didn't see it on the site. Thanks!

Im assuming you can still find those tables, My mom had one too and so does my sister, they are light weight and were sold as accent tables for throwing a round table cloth over, often a corner table for a lamp, plant etc, I googled and see Walmart used to have a version, they used to be in most stores in furniture decor sections www.walmart.com/ip/Mainstays-20-Round-Decorative-Table/17654637 this is what they look like in most peoples homes hiding under a tablecloth like this images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/41aUyL-H2lL._AC_UL320_SR260,320_.jpg
