Falcon is literally playing the same 5 heroes for their 4th tournaments now. Doom Razor Timber Pango Mars, the rest really doesnt matter. Whereas XG is playing completely different drafts, from SD/Phoenix to now Bane and Marci, every position expanded their hero pool and they are winning. This shows adaptability, the moment the new patch hits, teams will have to play new stuff and Falcon just really hasnt done that at all in the entire 2024

Something from the olden days, DK 2014, I believe they stomped almost everyone, all their players played multiple varied heroes (in one tournament, Burning played different carry hero from the beginning to the final), and multiple positions as well (Mushi, Ice3x and Burning would swapped position 1, 2, and 3, and X and Lanm also swapped position 4-5), they also played some wacky strat, like global strat (Zeus, NP, AA, Spectre, one hero carrying veil), or pos4 Juggernaut (by Lanm who's actually pos5, see previous comment about role swapping). They won multiple tournaments leading up to TI4, but they failed miserably in TI4 when the new patch hit and I guess it went against all their playstyle or something.
