Surprised the trailer survived flipping it back on its wheels with as bad as the back was compromised. Good recovery!

Thanks for the comment and for watching! It is definitely challenging to get the footage without bottlenecking the recovery, and then putting it all together in a way that's not boringly long. We're still learning and trying to make the videos better each time, so glad you are enjoying the channel!

@WilcoxGarageRecovery well i have to say I do alot of youtube Rotator and Heavies but yeah I will be watching more of you for sure. Like you product and plus my lastname so lol. Your 50 ton Tator is an NRC?. I recognize those blue container/rim slings from Bailey's. Believe it or not the 1 person i watch and am a member of is another tow company and I belive the ONLY company that has a everyday tow kit named specifically after them (keeping name out for a reason not sure if im allowed to mention another company or not so lol.

Just found your channel, looks interesting. I like the 20 - 30 minute length videos. The 1 hr ones some people post are too long for me.

Thank you! Agreed, which is why we try to make them the shorter length.

What did you have to do to unlock the 5th. wheel knowing that you normally have to back into it to get it to release you didn't have that option! Good job always looking forward to the next one!

Usually we can use the winch to pull the truck one way or another and manipulate it to do what we want. Sometimes it's easy, but sometimes it can be a struggle. This one wasn't too terrible. Glad you are enjoying the videos! 👍🏻

Hey bro, I ama fan of heavy recovery trucks. Don’t know anything about it, but it’s part of the deal. Perhaps you could use a thinner font so we can read it before you fade it out 👍🙏

Why does anyone ever unhook the truck from the trailer? Flip it as one and it’s a ready to be towed unit.
@WilcoxGarageRecovery Жыл бұрын
Would totally agree with you, in certain situations...This case, the way the trailer was sitting in the ditch and how badly it was damaged would have only complicated the recovery further. We opted to disconnect and winch the trailer into the roadway so that we could drive our skid steer directly in to the trailer to recover the cargo. If not, the time it would have taken to empty the trailer as it sat would have been really inefficient. We just did another rollover a few weeks back that was a load of FoMoCo vehicle batteries rolled in behind a utility pole. In that case is was easier to unload directly out the back because it was relatively flat terrain, then winch the tractor trailer unit back and upright as one unit.
